Can you maintain your current insurance under cobra if you leave your current job. The premium will likely be double but if its a matter of two months, it might be worth it
  3. Today is the fourth day of going to the gym and my self imposed pre-preop diet of 2 shakes and a meaty dinner. I am tired and miserable. I had to eat 3 baby carrots to keep from throwing myself in my backyard pond at a feeble attempt at suicide by drowning or suicide by snapping turtle bites. I start my liquid pre op diet on the 20th. Ugh
  4. Metalic tast in my mouth' date=' yuck. I took it while out camping for 2 weeks, i felt like I had a mouth full of nickles
  5. Lovely lookin liver too!! Congrats!!
  6. [quote name="Lisa ]I also forgot to mention that I swear by Fit Flops!!! They were recommended to me by the Dr that made my orthotics and I never had pain when I wore them!! I started out with the clog style and then purchased the flip flop style once I lost about 70 lbs. I still wear them even though my PF seams to be gone....they are so comfortable!!! I love my fit flop boots! Wore them all winter. I like SAS sandals' date=' there a little more cushy than fitflops
  7. I had that' date=' and H Pylori was found. 2 weeks of antibiotic, 2 weeks breath test then cleared
  8. First visit June 25. Three monthly Nutrition visits last one on September 5, isurance submitted same day, approval Sept 11, pre-op visit sept 20, surgery Oct 3... Not too bad
  9. Got my approval AND my date Oct 3!!!! Show yourselves my sleeve twins! And away we go!!!
  10. I have severe PF. No amount of stretching or orthotics helps. I have bought Fit Flops and SAS shoes that help me walk, but the pain is so severe, especially in the morning, that my husband has to help me to the bathroom. I refuse to take NSAIDs as they upset mystill unsleeved stomache. my BFF gave me this essential oil to massage my feet with, helps a little. i went to a podiatrist weekly for shots in my foot, but stopped going when I got tired of the 35$ a week co pay. This and my hypertension brought me to the realization that I need a sleeve. I feel your pain
  11. I called the insurance' date=' and I am glad I did!
  12. Are you a plus sized model? Beautiful. My good friends daughter is a gorgeous plus size model, has won some acclaim.
  13. Wishing you good luck! I waited until the third day to call' date=' i had to tie myself up until then, LOL!
  14. Yeah! I had a hiccup though. I broke down and called bcbs' date=' just to find out that the nurse reviewing my file was insisting on information that was either already sent or just unnecessary (wanted a second comorbidity which was NOT according to the plan brochure!) so I insisted on talking to a nurse. The nurse who answered was totally confused by the original nurses notes and approved it herself, once she saw all requirements were met!! So happy now!!
