  1. It is typical for my surgeons office. I was not at any risk.
  2. No need you answered my question. It must be IM at a 90 degree angle. Thanks Piplula
  3. What gauge is the needle?
  4. Yes this happens. I would try to take baby sips. I know it's difficult.
  5. I have my 6 week post op appt next Monday. I'll ask him then. Do you inject them at a 90 degree angle in your Lower abdomen similar to lovenox?
  6. I hear ya... I'm getting frustrated too. I was sleeved on 7/30/12 and am only down 29 lbs. ugghhh. I agree though I think my body is in starvation mode. I can only get like 600 cal in per day.
  7. According to other posts, I thought you already had the sleeve done?
  8. See you on the other side. :-)
  9. I am so tired of the extreme critical opinions I have been seeing regarding eating carbs etc. I think that a cheat here and there is healthy. I myself I have tried diet after diet, depriving myself of certain things only to lose 50lbs and gain 80 back. I think deprivation got me to the weight I was pre-op. the great thing about the sleeve is, the portion control it forces. I will not feel guilty for eating a piece of toast, a bite of Mac and cheese, or a sugary sucker, nor will I allow others to make me feel guilty.
  10. You look great. That is a great loss in 4 months :-)
  11. I had to inject 1x daily for 10 days, as a blood clot prevention as well.
  12. You can also add sugar free soda the blender takes out the carbonation. I used to love adding 6oz of sugar free orange crush, ice cubes, vanilla protein powder and mandarins oranges to make an orange creamsical protein shake. It was my favorite pre-op drink recommended by my surgeons office.
  13. I noticed I get tipsy after 1/2 a glass of wine now, however it wears off just as fast. I am almost 6 weeks post op and had my first drink at 4 weeks out. No judgement please! I don't think 1 drink will hurt.
  14. I would try an Ecig. They are great especially if the addiction is more "hand to mouth" related. I use the cignot brand as they have 100's of flavors to choose from, like peach, vanilla, cotton candy, toffee.... The list goes on.
  15. Lost 2 lbs Weight this week: 229
  16. I have my eye on these. Victoria Secret http://www.victoriassecret.com/clothing/jeans/vs-hipster-bootcut-jean?ProductID=41122&CatalogueType=OLS
  17. Awesome NSV :-). How are those EAS shakes?
