  1. I really enjoyed watching the surgery and the surgeon interview. Is it just me or is the radiologist condesending? I felt myself reacting to him. Just want perspective. life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX

  8. There are laws in every state as to how long a practitioner has to respond to a Release of Information. I agree with pp that you can call and make an appointment to review/copy your chart. That is with-in your rights. HIPPA isn't just a bunch of letters strung together. Sorry for the stress. life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX
  9. I'm grateful to have some pre-op stuff to do next week (labs and a PA-C meeting). This sitting in neutral for two weeks might give me enough time to get nervous. Thankfully I've got a busy life with work and kids and summer fun! life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX

  15. I wonder how resting metabolic rate plays into stalling. (I am pre-op so only having a surgery stall. J/k. Lol) when the Dr tested my metabolic rate it came back that I burn thousands of calories at rest! I have a good metabolism if those tests are at all accurate. I kinda take it with a grain of salt, though. I'll be curious to see just what kind of looser I am. life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX

  20. See people posting about having a stall or a really bad stall. I understand this means they've stopped weight loss for a period of time. This is different than slowing down? How does a person know they have stalled? By time? life is a journey, not a destination; so, stop running -H.D. THEROUX
