  1. I use strivectin love this stuff. I actually started using it before i had surgery. I have seen a big change in my skin. I do still need help on my turkey neck. Don't know if there is anything out there that will help.
  2. I am 9 1/2 months out. I am just starting to hit 800 calories and have celebrated that.
  3. I have been eating nuts since i was about 3 months out. I have almonds or walnuts almost everyday. One of my favorite snacks.

  6. Congrats on your weight loss! I'm 9mths out and still can't eat chicken makes my stomach very upset. Hoping someday this changes because I used to love chicken.
  7. My b12 levels are high over 1000. What I don't understand is why the drs still want me taking this supplement.
  8. I was allowed caffeine at 3 months. My NUT prefers if i have decaf but usually I have regular. I allow myself to have 2 sf ff lattes a week also and usually have no problems.
  9. I had to crush all my pills for the first month. So very gross! Was so glad when that was over.
  10. My favorite is chobani.
  11. My favorite snack at the moment is beef jerky,almounds,almound butter, and LF cheese.
  12. This happens to me when I'm dehydrated.

  14. My Dr's had me keep my pump on during surgery just at a reduced rate. If i was disconnected I would have being in serious trouble but I also am a type 1 diabetic.
  15. I take 5000mcg of biotin a day but I still lost a lot of hair. My surgeon told me to take flax oil 1-2 TBSP per day and that seems to be working.
  16. I Couldn't eat or drink without getting a severe stomach acke and at that time was still on liquids, had severely low blood pressure,dizzy and lightheaded all the time. I Was hospitalalized several times right after my surgery for a week at a time. dehydrated all time actually I still have this problem I'm almost 9 mths out and I get IV fluids twice a week. I Have had a few bumps in the road but i know it could be way worse. And I wouldn't change anything i love my new life and so thankful i got this surgery best thing I ever did. Good luck to you!   18. I Had to crush all my pills for the first month and there was also a few that I had to take in liquid for a few months. My Dr's also had me stop a few medications for awhile because they were to hard on the stomached.
  19. My surgeon wanted me off for 6 weeks. But I ended up being off for 3 months because of some issues that I had.
  20. My NUT had me wait until month 3 to start nuts. She also prefers if I stick to almounds and walnuts. I usually have no problem with them as long as I chew them good.
  21. My Dr said no alcohol for at least a year.
  22. I was able to drink decaf after 1week.
