My B12 levels are high over 1000. What I don't understand is why the drs still want me taking this supplement.

I was allowed caffeine at 3 months. My NUT prefers if i have Decaf but usually I have regular. I allow myself to have 2 sf ff lattes a week also and usually have no problems.

missjenny have you tried trader joes Jerky. its is awesome. i tried another brand last night and when i tell you it went straight to my head' date=' my head was pounding from all the sodium taste like i was chewing a salt stick or something gross. trader joes is just right for me[/quote']No I haven't tried trader joes; will have to look into it. I would love to find one that is low in sodium and still tastes good. I usually have jack links jerky but it can be way too salty for me at times. I used to be a salt addict before surgery, but I just can't handle it anymore.

My Dr's had me keep my pump on during surgery just at a reduced rate. If i was disconnected I would have being in serious trouble but I also am a type 1 diabetic.

I Couldn't eat or drink without getting a severe stomach acke and at that time was still on liquids, had severely low blood pressure, dizzy and lightheaded all the time. I Was hospitalalized several times right after my surgery for a week at a time. dehydrated all time actually I still have this problem I'm almost 9 mths out and I get IV fluids twice a week. I Have had a few bumps in the road but i know it could be way worse. And I wouldn't change anything i love my new life and so thankful i got this surgery best thing I ever did. Good luck to you! You will do fine.

My surgeon wanted me off for 6 weeks. But I ended up being off for 3 months because of some issues that I had.

My NUT had me wait until month 3 to start nuts. She also prefers if I stick to almounds and walnuts. I usually have no problem with them as long as I chew them good.

My Dr said no alcohol for at least a year.
