Hi everyone, so I am concidering lapband and I am super excited!!! I just am curious on what kind of pre-op testing is done and how long is the process of pre-op testing process before you can get the procedure done? I am completly new to this and the more info I get the better!!! Does anyone think that I would be able to get the labband by mid August, or is that too soon? Thanks

Trisket, you are lucky to be able to get it done so soon! The only real time that I would be able to have the procedure done is in August because of work and school schedule; hopefully all goes well with insurance!! -

Unfortunitly not self pay I am going to see my regular doctor on July 5th to speak to her about the band so I guess I will get more information then! I am just too excited and I want to know the ins and outs prior to my appointment haha
