Strawberry Unjury Recipes?
Chubarella replied to Chubarella's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
Well I tried strawberry Unjury with some light cranberry juice and it was ok then it got to me and I couldn't finish it. I give up with this flavor. I'm gonna wait til I'm able to use milk next month to finish this container. I'm just gonna have to eat more meat. -

Why am I a Slowwwwwwwww loser?
Chubarella replied to newgrandmother's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm a slow loser. I'm also 4'11" and pear shaped. I'm on my 5th week and have lost 17 pounds. I have to keep looking at the positive points like I lowered my steering wheel a notch, I can walk the entire flea market (and its huge), My heels are up to 3", I'm exercising more which I never use to, my dresses have gone from a 28 to a 16 and I haven't been this weight since 1997 when I was 24. -
Well I was sore on day 3 doing 20 but on day 5 I attempted 25 and I was able to complete it so I'm looking forward to doing my 30 tonight

Anyone have to do a 4 week pre-opt diet?
Chubarella replied to KatieOkieDokie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had to do a low carb diet for 2 weeks, the 3rd week was full liquids then the last week was nothing but Atkins Advantage shakes. I lost 13 pounds. -
I love pork! I started eating it almost at week 4. Couldn't eat too much of it though.

Depressed and distressed! Help!
Chubarella replied to kimmy42083's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You're welcome cause I was still left feeling hungry with nothing but liquids. Even with all the walking I'm doing, I'm not breaking my stall, so I think I'll be doing a low carb type diet. That's the only diet that actually worked for me. -
Depressed and distressed! Help!
Chubarella replied to kimmy42083's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had surgery the same day and have only lost 13 pounds. I average from 800-1000 calories per day. I do notice that when I eat roasted chicken, I can feel the fullness compared to drinking soup or eating yogurt/cottage cheese or mashed potatoes.
