  5. Im almost 2 months out on the 25 th I don't regret having it done at all. I still have eating issues but I don't regret it. Go to the mall buy a size smaller shirt that you love the time goes by fast and before you know it you'll be wearing it. Try it it will make you feel sooooo good!
  6. That's the key don't over cook them! Like they say everyone is different. It worked for me just chew and take it slow.
  7. Oh crap you mean I expanded this thing with one piece of bread! That was on the list!
  8. Since we are speaking of pain.... I'm having pain since yesterday after supper, in my upper left quadrant. Called drs. Nurse and said since I had a bread for the first time yesterday at supper, she feels it got "hung up" in the pouch. Said it probably wasn't ready for it. Told me to do liquids for 2 days. It's really sore there I sure hope she's right. Also said it will go down or come up. I don't feel sick to my stomach at all . I had rny on march 25. Anyone experience this?
  9. Ok ladies I have not heard of these........ how about telling me more about them and how do you get them? What r they?
  10. What is like to know is?........ Does it take older people like myself longer to lose the weight as opposed to people not in their fifties? I will ask my dr. When I see him but if you know do tell please.
  11. I was told by dr. That the stomach is still viable with artery and veins. To me it meant its still alive just not holding food.
  12. Hi from northeast PA. Wlkes-Barre. Surgery was March 25. I am down 30 pounds. I'm five weeks out And I'm hanging in there every day is a learning experience.
  13. Ladies I can say this first I'm 5 weeks out and just started to feel "normal". Heads clearer, I feel strong again, finally feel up to a little exercise like walking and going out with friends on occasion . I felt like I was recovering forever. We need to be patient and I'm not lol I want it all done yesterday. Since our weather has finally become nice go sit on your porch for a few minutes a couple times a day feel that sun we waited so long for sip a refreshing drink smell that fresh air and relax. It will all be so mucho better very very soon. Your actually on your way to a better you!
  14. 1.5 feet of what? Can you explain this please!
  15. My husband did the same thing but when he realized I was doing it no matter what he said he kinda jumped on board. Took me to hospital and just acted more serious than brushing me and the topic off. This was over many months that he said the same exact thing " you don't need this you can do this on your own" or "you'll never be able to stick to it" " your skin is going to hang" some of my motivation is to prove him wrong. I'll be 4 weeks out on 25th and I'm down 27 lbs not so bad. He said the the other day "your looking good Deb " please don't let him change your mind! It's your life not his he doesn't have to love in your shoes everyday. He's being selfish for what ever reason . It's not so bad over here on this side come on well make room for you on the losers bench! Put you first! Good luck to you !

Feel like the gerd is acting up again I get that burning in my throat with alot pf burping and I'm on protonix probably need more. Not meeting requirements for Water or Protein. I can't seem to eat enough food to get the protein in. Can't stomach protein shots just about tolerating the shakes. All I know is going to be bald and worried at this point. This isn't easy.
