Ok an argument between me and husband broke out about the card after total confusion broke out on store as to why card wouldn't work . And I can't tell people I was sick. Because I choose this and you can't say I was sick only if it was something that had to be done ......not chosen to do to myself! So I guess I wasn't sick at all so WTh was I then. On vacation ! He's such an ass!

Marina my daughter bought me potatoe soup the light of course a d ground pinto beans and added that with a little water . Was rely good just really chew the potatoes touch it was Campbell's soup. PA told me to stay away from food like mashed potatoes or similar like pudding due to it not having any nutritional value . That's why we added the beans for protein. I will mash up some tofu in a blender and add that also , daughter says it will melt like sour cream and high in protein. It beats. just fluids and I really enjoyed it.

Noooo the left side stays sorer longer. Did Mention I had a lobotomy also that day! Damn

I do have a question for anyone. I just ate a hardboiled egg and put in a bit of LF mayo to make wet and I chewed even tho I mashed it well. That was about an hour ago . How long does it take after eating something that you'll realize that the food isn't going to stay down? Immediately or sometime later?

Yeah Jackie know that feeling well I'm just 12 days out. I felt like a Mac truck ran over me! It really really does get noticeably better each day. Didn't take any additional pain med outside of the morphine

One week out today. I have a lot more to learn amd experience. Not looking forward to that kind of scares me. First day alone with grandchildren 2 1/2 and 4 1/2. Say a pray for me lol

Going home today. Hasnt been easy I pray for the first person who says I took the easy way out. I'll say ya right so why don't your take the easy way also. Dry heaves hurts really bad. Needed more fluids by iv also some potassium. Stomach sore and bloated but not taking pain pills due to the nausea . Just hope things do get better soon. Not a happy camper yet.

Krispy Kreme should be out lawed! It's like a drug for many people once you have one your addicted forever. So in my house they won't be allowed if family wants them they they'll have to go out to eat them. They armt good for them either. I'm afraid I'd have no control over them.

I'm not doing to bad on the pre op because I do a shake in the AM then a protein bar for lunch and a shake, the I get 4-6 ounces Lean protein, 1 cup cooked veggies or 2 cups raw veggies and if I want a 1/2 c of a carb and 1 tsp fat. I just make sure I get that 60-75 grams of protein. I don't know how you ladies can do it with just fluids. Well at least it won't be long now good luck ladies!
