Sorry my phone went a little bonkers with the typing! :-)

You absolutely have to track your calories. Try myfitnesspal. I use the phone app every single day. No more than 1200 calories! I lose 2 lbs per week with no exercise as long as I don't go over 1200 calories per day. Good luck! You've got this!

I want to wear stilettos without the fear of breaking them, I want to shop for clothes without feeling depressed, I want to wear sexy lingerie and know I look good, I want to wear smaller bras, I want to be able to climb stairs without feeling like I'm going to have heart failure, I want to see my face get thin and pretty again, I want to be noticed, in a good way, when I walk in a room.

I was banded on June 27, 2012 and I have lost 25 lbs too. You and I are right on track for our loss so far! The average is 1-2 lbs per week. I find that by tracking exactly what I eat on myfitnesspal, and staying at or below 1200 calories, I tend to lose 2 lbs per week. Don't get discouraged! It's a marathon not a sprint! You got this!! :-)

I had to get a slight unfill today because I couldn't get liquids down. However it seems no matter how carefully I eat, I'm always getting stuck! Even with this latest unfill. I chew chew chew but it gets stuck time and time again. I really don't want to live like this! Am I destined to be on mushies until I hit my goal weight? Grrrr Sorry, had to vent!

I Figured It Out... It's Elastic's Fault!!

Loved this post! -
Ok so I had a fill last week on Monday. By Thursday I got so stuck at dinner that I was in horrible pain all night. I couldn't get anything down Friday thru Monday, not even water. Went for a slight unfill on Monday morning and was able to drink a cup of water at the doctors office. By Monday evening, I can seem to eat anything without horrible sliming. I had to suffer Thru Tuesday only managing to take in 400 calories. Today,Wednesday, I'm finally able to get another unfill of .40 and hallelujah! I can eat! I get completely full with one cup of food! I'm writing this because in the beginning I wanted to be real tight so that I would lose weight faster. Let me tell you, it's not worth it!!!!!!!!! Being in the green zone and feeling good far outweighs a quick weight loss. To be able to enjoy a small amount of food without throwing up is what this band is all about. So PLEASE!!!! don't think being super tight is the way to go. It's horrible and can only be tolerated for a very short time. Finding the sweet spot is worth multiple trips to the doctor for fills and unfills. Don't be afraid to speak up! I can finally love love LOVE my band!!! :-D

Eight weeks?! You poor thing!!! No wonder you're weak! Thank goodness you're going in for an unfill tomorrow! After an unfill, my doctor doesn't require any dietary restrictions and I'm sure yours will let you know. Be sure to drink a lot of Water before leaving the doctors office just to make certain they took out enough that you can comfortably drink. You're gonna be so happy tomorrow! :-)

I suggest a small pillow to wedge between you and the seatbelt. Good luck! You'll do great!

Anyone Else Cold Since Loosing Weight?
joannedt replied to tammylee205's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I used to be cold all the time and it turned out to be my Thyroid. Maybe you should get yours checked. It's very common. Good luck! -
I think you may be right. It shouldn't be this difficult! I'll take your advice and call dr tomorrow. Thanks!

Actually stuck right now and I just wanna cry it hurts so bad!

Wow! Sounds like you're doing great even without any fills! I didn't lose anything until I had fills. You sound like you're following the eating rules of one cup per meal. Are you exercising? Getting 1200 calories a day? Maybe you need to change things up a bit so your body doesn't know what to expect. Just a thought. Congrats on the impressive weight loss so far! :-)
