  1. We are just about the same. I am 5'2 and want to get to 150, I feel that is realistic. However I think, although not sure you have to be out at least 12-18 months before you should do plastic surgery. I have a feeling it depends on your insurance if they are willing to pay for it, but then again I am just assuming.

Let me know if you find out and good luck!!!

  2. Well I am still trying to learn the process of eating slowly, it is a hard adjustment to do when your used to a certain way of doing things. I catch myself (but at times to late) that HEY, slow down girlfriend..LOL yes I say that to myself. I have gotten that nausea feeling and thrown up as well, no good.

I am almost 2 months out so it is a process, just remember it maybe harder once you are soft foods. Good luck!!

  3. I am the same about not telling. My husbands family are so judgmental, so I would rather not. However I am down 50 lbs and NO ONE has said anything either. I think to myself is the scale right? LOL. But you know I do not care, I feel better, I know I look better and my clothes are not fitting, so I am happy regardless.

I have to say that this has been the hardest decision and thing I have ever done. If people think its "the easy way out" then shame on them, because it has been the hardest thing for me!

    Good luck and keep going!!!

  4. I am 6 weeks post op and been working on my arms and legs the most! My belly, I know is going to be bad because that is where I carried most of my weight, not to mention I am only 5'2..so Tummy Tuck and boob job will happen sooner or later. I also am broad at the top so my arms are a concern. My legs I am not so concerned about considering I do not wear anything short like that, but my arms are my biggest concern. I want to wear short sleeve, I don't care about tank tops but I am highly concerned about them. I am doing exercises, using creams for firming and just hoping it won't look to bad in the end, good luck! Oh and I am 39...we shall see.

My girlfriend had the Roe-n-y and she is 5'8 she never really had a belly but most of her weight is in her legs and thighs. She looks pretty good all over, she still has big legs but she looks good...Your tall so you maybe just fine.

  5. Soon you will be able to get some Vitamin B (under tongue) which will help and a chewable Multivitamin. But whatever you do...GET YOUR PROTIEN in, this will help you feel better and heal as well. I use the premiere shakes with 30 grams of Protein, I add a banana, couple scoops of protein, 52g, and ice, blend and drink that. It will take some time but put it in a cup that has a top to shake and drink it. That is your protein for the day..I felt the same way as you I am 6 weeks post op and feel a lot better, but the first month was the hardest. It gets easier, that is what I have been told, so far it is true.

  6. Thanks all...and PDXman no I do not I didn't realize that is what I was doing. I really truly felt that I was eating slower and chewing longer. Perhaps I am taking to quick of bites after I swallow. I do but my fork down but still, it is hard.

Thanks for all advice! You all are great!!

  7. I have been post op now 6 weeks. Lately though I have been eating soft foods and for some reason can only get down about 3-4 smaller bites and then feel nauseous, constant saliva and then throw up. However, I started eating one bite, then 15 minutes later another and so on and I feel fine. I feel now like I eat all day! Why is that? Anyone? I take my medication for heartburn etc, but I do not get it. I am confused about it.

  8. I as well have told few people and those I did tell are very supportive. I didn't tell my husband family because they are so judgmental and I do not want to hear it and they LOVE to talk crap about people. All I am going to say is just like my RN told be at my post office visit- "I have been eating less and moving more" - Which is not a lie. So, thats the story I am going with. Good luck and this is your decision to make you feel better!
