Congrats ...I know very stressful waiting! My BMI is just barely over the 35 too similar to yours so i was really concerned that they might deny it! But it all worked out EGD is scheduled for June 28th and surgery on July 10th! Good Luck getting all your dates lined up! Enjoy your cruise! -
Bcbs Approval?

I have BCBS of MN -> I kept calling my doctors office it took forever for them to submit the paperwork! The insurance company received the info on June 5th and sent the approval letter out on June 13th! -

I don't know - it seems like every surgeon is a little different...The endoscopy is they go down your throat with a scope and check it all out - they can see if you have Hiatal Hernia this way and he will know if he needs to repair it when he goes in to band me! It is probably just another great way for them to make money?!?! -

I am scheduled for July 10th! The hospital just called for my pre-op blood work and told me i am tentatively scheduled for 2:00 and they have me staying over! I was hoping for first thing in the morning so i could go home! Waiting until 2:00 is going to be hard! I start my liquid on Tuesday the 26th and then on the 28th I have endoscopy! I am getting nervous - but i know i am doing the right thing!! -

Did any of you need an Endoscopy? I have to do that on June 28th to check the stomach lining and check for hital hernia (which i do not think i have).... -

Is that the Bariatric Advantage? I think i bought the Banana and Strawberry flavors I hope i like them with having to be on them for 2 weeks pre op starting next Tuesday!! And then 2 weeks post op too!! -
