I didn't get an egd. He said we would do the upper gi first if any further concerns he would follow up with an egd. It came back normal , I was worried the band had damaged my esophagus and now hope that the gi was enough testing.

I been reading here about the unfilling before sleeve. Darn sounds like a good idea. I have my revision next Thursday. To late for fill. I am hoping liquids and not tempted to eating something that might get me stuck and irritate me before band.might help . -
Why does the chat option send me to a lap band suppot group?? Odd I want to chat with you guys but it takes me to people getting band. And I already have band. And revising.

Mine didn't require an edg. But part of me wish It Did tomake sure all good since I have been banded four years. I did get an upper gi and everything was normal. So I just need to stop worrying about my esophagus and relax.

Thank you. This is. New phone so took me a minute to find that search button. Thank you. -
How many calories did your nut recommend ? Mine told me I needed to build up to 1200 with time and healing. Personally you need more calories. We all have different needs based on our weight to just maintain normal functions. Sounds to low to me . Talk to your nut

@twistedkitten what is the name of your unflavored protein and how much protein does it give you thank you -
So sorry someone did that to you. I live on a border town to Mexico and to us it's a way is life. Growing up my parents and i had doctors in Mexico since no insurance here. And the care was excellent. I have heard so many people say how many more hospitals are much nicer than ours. So don't them get to you. We don't need more stress.

Loving this thread I am also a low bmi 33. Having a revision from band to sleeve. And I also have what I like to call shallow hall complex. I think I look sometimes even thin lol until I see pictures lol or my uniforms are to fitted. And of course like most of you are getting comments of why doing this..... Well to be healthier, get off bp meds and blood sugar meds. but honestly maybe some of us want to prevent going on meds, and have better futures. , oh having mine July 2 -

Pre-Op Testing Today: Slightly Over 2 Weeks Till Surgery - It's Gettin' Real.
Pattyhdz replied to Patrick Curl's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Wow Patrick your orientation seems awesome. Well minus ur squimish experience but at least it will not catch you off guard. By the way I tried sending the private message to join your Facebook for July dates and didn't go thru -
I have a tentative date set for July 2 nd and I think I am officially obsessed wih this site. Lol and I was just thinking what was I going to do to keep busy during the pre op especially.. You got to keep mind away from food. My plan is to drink my shakes as I am making dinner for family and try to either go for walks organize house a bit. So those couple weeks I am not bombarded with stuff. I was banded four years ago so I have done this once. But one seems to forget. I have not doubt that I cheated so I need to be better this time around. This surgery is very different and needs more care.
