Hello, I was banded on June 15...and I felt the same way. After the first week of liquid I was craving solid food. I remained strong and completed the three weeks of the restricted diet.. During my first filling, I told my doctor what I was feeling.. He basically told me that I only had 1cc in my band and my stomach was pretty much open since all the swelling from the surgery had gotten down....
Don't worry, you will feel some restriction during ur 1st filling..you going to feel less hungry and fuller longer... I hope this helps..

Hey guys, I just got banded three on Friday. I had to stay overnight at the hospital because the anesthesia was making nauseous. Now, I am home recovering. So far, I'm not hungry and I'm keeping myself hydrated with Water, Soup and apple juice
