Do a search for chia seeds. I started using using them last week and have not had a problem since. There have been a few posts about them. Sent from my iPhone using VST

    Firefighter

I had to take six weeks off work. I felt like I could have gone back to work around four weeks but my Dr. is pretty strict about not lifting more than 20 lbs the first six weeks. As far as telling people at work I have only told my PM partner that I work with most of the time and one other good friend who works a different shift. I'm sure people at work are wondering what's up but nobody has approached me about it. On the other hand everyone is asking my parter what's up( I have lost 95 lbs since Aug. 27). I think it's pretty funny that they talk to him but not me. I work in a station with 5 others. They notice I am not eating as much but do not say anything. They probably suspect but they have not approached me about it. I do not regret having the surgery at all. It has made work so much better. Sent from my iPhone using VST

My doc wanted six weeks. I think I could have gone back at four. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  6. I am a paramedic also. You can intubate by just paralyzing someone but it is not done often. They will sedate and give you something to make you not remember anything prior to paralyzing and intubation. You will be fine. Sent from my iPhone using VST

    Whats Wrong With Me?/

The way I interpreted Butterbeans comment was being help full not condescending. I have read many of his posts and I believe he is always trying to be positive with his posts and trying to help others. Sent from my iPhone using VST

    Coffee

I have been drinking coffee since the day after surgery in the hospital. I drink 3-4 cups a day without any problems. I do get a bit more jittery if I drink more than a few cups without eating. My Dr. said it was ok to drink coffee. Sent from my iPhone using VST

    Disgusted By Others Eating

Very well said tovanta! Not every person has access to this surgery. I have a good job with great insurance and it did not cover it. I thank God that I was able to come up with 23,000 for it. I'm sure there a lot of people that would love to have the surgery if they had insurance or other means to pay for it. Sent from my iPhone using VST

    Swallowing And Feeling Full

I was sleeved on Aug. 27th and I can drink 10 oz. in 15-20 minutes. It will hurt a little for a few seconds if I go to fast but the discomfort does not last long. Sent from my iPhone using VST
