    Fall Clothes!

Thrift stores and Goodwill have saved me. I drop sizes so quick...I couldn't afford to pay full price. Also, clearance racks. It's a great feeling losing weight and dropping sizes....just wish I had more clothes!

  5. I put in and remove the Nuva Ring. It's very simple!
  6. I use the Nuva Ring and I love it. No periods in months except a little spotting right after my surgery.

    Denied :(

I debated about responding but after the "quick fix" comment I had to. Please don't be under the impression that this surgery is a quick fix. It is most definitely a lifestyle change not a quick fix. It is not easy at all! There are days I throw up everything! Days that no matter how much I try I can't eat. Days that I feel awful all day. With that said...I have no regrets and would do it again....just don't like people referring to it as a "quick fix". Also, I have BCBS (one of the largest insurance companies in the country). The requirements for surgery are BMI over 40 with no health issues and BMI over 35 with other health issue (diabetes, HBP etc). While you are entitled to your opinion (as everyone is) I think its better to leave the requirements to the surgeons and insurance companies! AND, I wish you the best in your journey to WLS but after you have the surgery....please let me know how you feel about it being a "quick fix"!
  12. I only had to do a low carb diet for two weeks.

    Tomorrow Is The Day!

Best of luck to all 3 of you!!!
  15. You should be fine. I didn't have to do a liquid diet so I could eat the day before surgery.

    What Is The Best Flavoring...

I tried everything possible in my shakes but just couldn't drink them. No matter what I used the smell of the whey made me sick. But I did use sf pudding from time to time....maybe a tsp. Good luck!

    Vitamins

I take two Flintstone Complete. It's for children and adults. Just have to take two because they require 200% of the daily allowance.
