You sound just like the rest of us! We can all diet an exercise but always gain it back and then some! Sounds to me like the band is the tool for you .. If your willing to diet and exercise the band will be very helpful with portion control to keep you on the right track.

Its sucks yes but part of your new life. Threw out there will be times you have to resort back to liquids for a few days because of tightness. swelling. or over eating at a diffrent meal. I promise once you start seeing the weightloss you wont even mind the awful menu. Only thing that bothered me was trying to drink a protien shake while i could smell something delicious being cooked by someone else in the house knowing i couldnt have i. So i took those opportunities to go for a walk. you can do this!

Odds are your band is irritated and slightly swolllen. Irs going to suck but go to liquids! Your surgeon should have gave you instructions and id be concerned with the fact that yoh have questions and cant get ahold of anyone at the office. I was on liquids for two weeks then runny mushy soft foods for 4 weeks. I was to scared to try solids even then my dad had to force me to try it.

Im 4 years out and i still have dayd where i cry because im so frustrated with my band. Its a love hate relationship but we make it work

Hear ya i lost 60lbs in 2 months i was so sick and unhealthy and a slight unfill did not help i got worse and ended up with a complete unfill! Now im fightin to watch my weight.

Im 24 o had my surgery 3 days before my 20th bday. Yes i had an over hang and 150 pounds later its still here

Because girls have to transition from girl to women before they notice a good man worth spending thier life with over a hot boy worth spending the night with. Sad but true.

Oh the killer gas pain!! I still get it sometimes. As much as it hurts make yourself walk it helps it go away. Theres been a few times i swear without gas x and a heating pad i would have curled up in a ball and died!

And most likley you have no fluid yet. They let your body get used to it first with no restriction because there will be swelling from the surgery. After youve healed they will give you your first fill at a follow up appointment

I wasnt allowed to swallow anything for 48 hrs i was on an iv and med pain drip and could suck on an ice cube if my mouth was dry but had to spit it out when it melted. They said absolutley nothing threw the band those 2 days to assure proper healing. Id ask someone else.

Congrats on this life changing decision!.. I was 19 when i had my surgery. I was 420 when i went in. I to wanted those exact things This can be a seriously long journey but its worth it. Im down 150 pounds and still pluggin away.

If this was the "easy way out" i wouldnt still have 80 lbs to lose 4 yrs out. Its a tool not a quick fix! As for any decision you make in life there will always be haters.This isnt for them its for you. So follow your instinct and not thier opinion. For me personally id be lookin for a new bf just sayin...

You werent good enough for them when you were bigger so why should they get to get with you just cause your smaller? Your still the same person just a smaller version. No offense but sounds like a bunch of shallow bi#c#es!

Im 5'5 ive lost 150 lbs and i have lose skin its not terrible but its there. My boobs another story... they look awful i hate them. They are now saggy and wrinkled and half thier size like a deflated balloon! Im only 24 i did not want my chest lookin like this.
