although some people decide to make jokes I do appreciate an honest thought on the subject. It is a very sensitive one for me and I like to hear men and womens thoughts about it. Lets me know I'm not alone in feeling alittle self concious.

This is so sad!!!!! I have no idea how you are surviving!! If a week goes bye that we have had sex less then 3 times Im like what is the issue here?! Hope you find something to spark it back up! Its not just a want sometimes it a flat out NEED!

Stay away from carbonation, plan for the calories ahead of time, amd do not drink large amounts of alcohol right before you go to sleep! I'm trying to find the article I read so I can post it here. It was about consuming large amounts of alcohol and falling asleep before its had time to exit your band and it can cause you to asperate in your sleep!

I asked the guy doing mine why am i here exactly? He said Just making sure you are doing this for the right reasons and that you don't have a deeper issue that needs assest before surgery.

5 years post op and I still get that cramp about two or three times a month! No clue what it is.

Its really not their fault its against health code. I've been in food for 10 years they are pretty picky nowadays and getting worse monthly!! We actually recieved a write up because a customer reached for thier own napkin that was on our counter!!! But I guess you could dump the drink into your own cup once it was there.

Most likley they wouldn't be able to do that because they usually have to make the drink in the back and bring it to you. They are really not even suppose to refill a cup they have to bring an new one each time.

I have many foods that are that way! Today I may eat 3 oz of chicken no problems.. tommorrow I may take one bite of chicken and get stuck.. band likes to keep me guessin!!

Well as an update I decided to let my husband try it and OMG!!!!! it did take me a moment to stop thinkin about my fat but once I decided to shut off my brain it was all good!! Never in my life had an orgasm like that and my husband was quite satisfied with himself lol

I completley understand ive had 3 emergency unfills that all lead to even more problems then I had before the unfill. I hope they figure it out so you cam have some relief!!

In ozarks missouri 3.14 today but with the end of the election I'm sure we will be seeing 3.89 again real soon

I finally got so annoyed with it after like 4 days that I picked them off and rinsed my skin and instantly felt better.

Only one that broke out for me was the big one that the port is in.

You really shouldn't use a straw it allows to much air to get sucked in. But I do make an exception if I am at a resturant because with the high volume of customers they have they don't always focus on really washing each rim of the glasses. So I do not want to put my mouth on those cups.

I got that to and it wasn't from an infection my skin had an allergic reation to the sterry strips.

Has the doc said anything about why this is still occuring? I would think things would have started to turn for the better

I think the reason it bothers me most is because my hubby is 6'3 175 pounds.. so his body is all flat and preportioned and mine is so not!!

Im not 35 yet but I will give my opinion. I would definatley have the surgery first. Yes its a year you will have to wait but, imagine how much easier the pregnancy will be if your not fighting the sleep apnea and diabetes! Pregnancy can cause diabetes and high blood pressure and so many other things so I would not want to add them ontop of what I was already dealing with. And just think if you get your band and work hard and lose a good 50+lbs in that year how much easier it will be to get pregnant and how much healthier your body will be for the entire process. I had two miscarriages in the past two years. I ended up losing 65lbs between march and this Summer. Found out in august we were pregnant and everything is going so beautifully this time and I do believe it has a lot to do with the weightloss and fact that I'm healthier. Also if you already have your band and you end up gainin 30 pounds or so during pregnancy you can just go get a fill after instead of having that additional 30 to take into surgery with you! Just an opinion and you must do what feels right for you. Hope this was somewhat helpful and good luck on your journey!

This post got me interested so I did a little research.. a huber needle ment for lapbands (on the 7 sites i searched. Im not saying this is everywhere or 100% accurate so bare with me) cost anywhere from 139-298 dollars! My fill is only 130 and that includes the xray and a barium swallow if needed. Something scary I read while researching was on a site called obesityhelp.com there was an open discussion and some said. "My doc gave me a needle to take home with me since I'm 4 hours from him!!" Why would they do somethin like that?!

My next thought is this even if she somehow obtained a huber needle: is she reusing the same needle for more then one fill or unfill??!! If not and she is actually purchasing one each time why not just go to your doc and have it done safely? The cost can't be that much diffrent.
