Thank you jim by far all I was lookin for was anyone who was still on this long journey who may be a little frustrated with where they are and trying to get on track and get to that goal I never ment for anyone to get snippy as if I was calling then out because they are smaller then me.. It was just a question I asked because I know most people my size opt for the bypass or the doc encourages it over the band I was JUST CURIOUS! I understand any amount of weight can be hard to lose from ten pounds to three hundred I am just frustrated im almost six yrs in and still have a long way to go... Plus Last I checked this is an open forum for discussion and questions

Ok so strange but a few of the posts on here reminded me of a question ive actually been asked quite a few times... When explaining to some people the concept of being "stuck" the first question im asked is "ok so if you were givimg oral and decided to swallow would you get.stuck?" Who the heck automatically thinks of that? Tje first time I was asked I was so freaked out and taken back by the question after the seventh time I started to kinda use it as a pick up line "idk wanna find out?" lol jk

Ok so to sum up the past month I was to tight needed an unfill got it, it didnt help the acid reflux and night cough got worse ended up dehydrated and unable to even swallow my own spit so the doc totally unfilled me . .. Now after total unfillI spent 4 days on liquids then got very sick and constipated and full of trapted gas and in the following three days I consumed less then 2000 cals for the full three days combined and I weigh this morning and im UP 8 POUNDS since my unfill!! As if this month hasnt been bad enough now im goin back up the scale even without food what is up with that?

I in no way intended to offend anyone by asking if anyone started over 400 pounds and I by far never said anything disrespectful to anyone with less weight to lose.. I in general just asked if anyone started where I did as long ago as I did.and was still struggling to hit goal weight. So im sorry if one persons opinion rubbed you wrong but I did not make this thread with the intention of offending anyone just lookin to talk to someone who might feel like they are behind and in a slump

Dont do it!! If your liver is swollen the doc will either cut you fully open instead of laproscopic or stop the surgery all together! Plus you might as well get used to it because post op diet is liquids to

Your already off to a great start by being so concerned and asking questions:) he will need a good support system because there are many up and down days sometimes I am really tight and cant get all my protein in and im sluggish and tired or terribly bloated or constipated..or ive had to be unfilled three times and my poor hubby has been scared to death seein me dehydrated and throwing up but I thank god he was here for me .. Not sure about your hubby but my dad does not like to eat in public because he does not like to get sick in a public restroom or feel like he waisted his money.. Everyone is a little diffrent..

Many resturants dont honor the card even if you have it... I always just have a bite or two of whatever meat my husband gets and then I order a side item of my own like a side salad or apple sauce or a veggie
