I've tried so many shampoos doing Biotin folic acid etc... can't comb my hair without loosing so many strands.. hope this will stop and hope my hair grows back.. by all the post seems like we are in the loosing hair phase.. ughh ... i need my hair!! but i also need my size 8 wish there wasn't such a trade off.. by the way i can eat anything i want..really anything nothing makes me sick.. but i do get scary pains if i over do it and i cannot gulp beverages i get very bad discomfort doctor said its the volume my stomach gets with liquid going to get a vaium gi test ... just to make sure all is ok..good luck to all of us and hope our hair comes back soon...

  6. Congratulations on your progress!! Where did you get your workout short from? What's the brand name?

the shorts are BUELL just slide up no zippers.. from kmart (its an older item so might not be in stores) .... the waist band GOLD GYM Walmart with zippers so you can adjust as you loose. both are made from material that makes you sweat .. i slide the shorts for waist band for easy access and you can even wear it under regular clothes as a shapers.. but a bit uncomfortable. its great for workouts.. good luck

  7. total wieght loss 34 pds my loss has been slow but thats ok cuz im in a size 10!!! my hair has started to fall and thats not ok taking Biotin :( i still get discomfort if i eat to much, to fast, or dont chew properly and horrible discomfort if i gulp a becerage during a meal but i can tolerate all foods i take monthly B12 shots take my Vitamins and get on the scale constantly to make sure my wieght is stable must make an effort to walk more when i do i use a workout short n waist band it has help my body mass get into my size 10!! yay i also need to work on my Protein intake i dont have the urge to snack like before and a very slight urge for sweets now and then very happy with all the compliments and strange but i get very very cold ??? even though i had a few complications the first few weeks after surgery the reward has been worth it.. in 4 months i have accomplished what i couldnt in 5 years no regrets

  8. stay hydraded !! do not get discharged unless you can tolerate a cup of Water and make sure they check for leaks very important the stonach does not have nerve endings so no real pain there however you will have pain and discomfort from insicions and some back and chest pain pain medz might make you nausous if you have no complications your recovery should be easy and you should be back to normal in 2 weeks or so as far as food dont worry you will have such a different outlook on food its incredible food will become just the fuel you need and snacking craving will be a thing of the past your new stomach wont be able to hold much so you will feel full and satisfied but def stick to your diet plan which should be clear liquids full liquids puree and then reg food stay on this site often it really helps good luck

  9. im 14 weeks post op.. and yes in time you will be back to eating the new normal way that you have to get used to... at this point i can eat pretty much anything in small amounts. if i over eat or not chew properly i do get a very full feeling that sometimes hurts and def can't gulp down a beverage and food at the same time it causes discomfort and pain. best way is to stick to your diet phases once your in the puree stage you will be able to tolerate more and work your way to reg food .. good luck

  10. no regrets.. i accomplished in a few months what i haven't been able to accomplish in years... i also had complications the first few weeks but thankfully just minor issues nothing like a leak.. and my surgeon monitors leaks very closely and frequently with all his patients which is ***** very important to consider because checking for leaks in some practices are not mandatory or not done as routine care.. yes very important to do all your homework and research and make a commitment and understand that you will have to change your lifestyle and food will forever change ... you must be mentally and physically ready... good luck
