Where are all the June 2012 bandsters? I'd love to hear how everyone is doing! I'm down 85lbs! Everything is going smooth for me!

Mine took 6 months total. From seminar to surgery. I live rural. Our support group lets me Skype in. Which is awesome! I also use blogging and Internet for support. Just remember when you get online a lot if people follow different rules....have to be careful with online advise....

I have 8.5cc in my 14cc band. I'm starting to feel restriction and fullness for the first time. Hoping it lasts for me!

I did this program and its best to do 3 times a week and skip a day in between. Your body recovers and gets stronger on your days off!

I did not have any other health conditions and I was approved. I don't have united health though. My approval process took 6 months.

I can eat normal after a fill. No restrictions.

Love the success stories! Keeps me going! Congrats!!!

The band helps you feel full with smaller portions. You have to choose healthy food and you have to exercise. When you follow the rules the band does its job! I have lost 58 lbs in 4 months.

I have also been getting this since being banded. I'm sure it's acid reflux, I am going to talk to my doctor about it at my next appointment. I get it mainly after eating fruit.< /p>

Okay guys, I had my first fill a week and a half ago, this was 6 weeks post op. Ever since then I have been having sharp pains over my port area when I stand up or twist. Called my doctors office and they reassured me I was fine as long as it wasn't red, warm, or running a fever...which I am not. Is this just scar tissue irritated? Anyone else experienced this? Please tell me this goes away...

Surgery Day was today! I was home at 5:00. Procedure went really well, and feeling better than I expected! Good luck to the rest having surgery this month!!

I will be banded June 7th! Can't believe it's less than a week away! I've been in the process since January. Excited for the life change, and hoping for no complications. Are there any other Iowa girls out here?
