  2. It is so hard to believe that it has already been one year since surgery and, wow, what a year it has been! I'm still 10 pounds away from my self-imposed goal and the scale has not budged at all in four months. But, I'm still happy as can be. I'm healthier, happier and I finally like myself again. I haven't been perfect in following the guidelines in recent months and I'm pretty sure that is why the weight loss stopped. Luckily I haven't gained anything back but boy, do I see how very easily that will happen! I renewed my commitment to/with myself yesterday that forever forward, I WILL NOT return to those terrible habits. I still come here for advice and the comfort of being in the company of others who are fighting this battle with me. I told only a few of the people very closest to me about my surgery so my support base for that is very limited. I really appreciate the support and community this sight provides. Thank you and congrats to all of you that had your surgery along with me one year ago!!

  3. I am in the same stall as some of you. I was sleeved on August 6th and did so good until right about Christmas and the weight loss suddenly stopped. I have been sitting at the exact same weight since mid-January. Nothing I've tried has worked so I don't know what to do either. I feel great but I still need to lose another 10-15 lbs. just don't know how to make it happen now.

  4. I have 4 pair of nice jeans in size 16 that I would be glad to pass on to someone that can use them. I also have two pairs of black dress pants in size 16, one pair with a button waist and one pair with elastic waist that I will be glad to pass on to someone. If you want any specifics about the jeans, just let me know.

All I ask is that you pay the shipping cost and can send the money for the postage through Paypal.

If you are interested in any or all, just send me a message.

  5. I'll just say put on the clothes you use to wear and allow that to be your eyes..... you will then start visually transform yourself mentally' date=' and you will not be dependent only what your eyes tell your brain....you will have the proof of what your clothing tells your brain...[/quote']

Your right. I "feel" my weight loss every day in so many different ways. But, the only time I ever "see" the difference is when I see how big my clothes are getting on me. When I look at me without clothes, I still look fat as ever to myself. Crazy!

  6. What is still available. I am interested' date=' i will probably ...hopefully, shrink out of them by thannks giving, but I have no clothes right nomw that fit (gained a lot of weight this past year)

sorry for the delay responding...I'm away from home this weekend. I still have lots of jeans and tops. I posted a photo link above that has pictures of everything I still have available. I'm not able to repost it using my phone (all I have access to right now). It is a flicker link.

  7. I've put up pictures on Flickr of clothes that I have for sale. Most have garage sale prices on them. They are all in excellent condition and most of the blouses are practically brand new. Some of the nicest items are marked a little higher but I am all about negotiating, especially of you want numerous items. You pay for shipping. I like to use Paypal for money transfers but will happily discuss other options as well. If you are interested in more detail for any of the items just send me a private message and I'll give you all the details. Below is a link to the Flickr page (I hope it works). I just got started with it so I'm a little green on if you have to create an account etc. Let em know if you have any problems.

  8. I have a few Protein items that I will give to anyone who lives near Mesquite, Texas. Since surgery, I have not been able to tolerate the taste of any of them an I hate to just throw them away if someone else could use them.

    I have:

About half a canister of BariEssentials vanilla Bliss

A practically full 24 oz package of Jay Robb protein supplement in strawberry

7 new bottles of GNC's RTD Total Lean in Strawberries & Cream

Let me know if you are interested in any of them.

    Jana

  9. I got on the scale this morning and again...nothing. I'm afraid it threw me over the edge a bit as it's been two weeks since I've seen any weight OR inches come off (I'm almost three weeks post op). So basically, nothing since the liquids only starvation week and it was only 5 lbs then. I've been a bit of a basket case all day. It's so frustrating and I feel like I'm going to fail at this too.

  10. Congrats to all those sleeved this week! I was sleeved in Dallas on Monday and am also just resurfacing. My surgery went very well and now that some of that gas pain is going away feel like I am finally on my way to my happy "new" self. I am still having a really hard time getting all my liquids down each day and learning my "signals". The hunger one is loud and clear the "full" one, not so much yet and my chest starts hurting. I figure this means I've gone too far. I am really looking forward to getting to the Phase 2 diet next week when I can start adding in some tolerable Protein and feeling more satisfied.

    We're on our way!!
