You need to paste it into where it says 'your signature'. It's the big blank box that looks like a little text editor. Not into where it asks for a file or for a link. Then you go to the very bottom and click on the preview signature and you should be able to see how it'll look. Let us know.

That's right honey!!! Did you go to tickerfactory.com and pick out your ticker things and get all the way to the end where it gives you the html? If so, copy that into your signature on LBT (go to User CP at the top). If this is too vague, say so and I'll elaborate!

Grits.. to be or not to be?
Ok, I'm being thick as a post! I like Steak Out too...but you're right, it can be a bit on the chewy side! Just think, you'll still be eating it by supper time!

Bad Breath! Why?
I'd ask the doctor...bad breath can be a sign of a health problem (i.e, diabetics sometimes get bad breath when their insulin is out of whack). Too, a low carb diet will give you bad breath if you're in ketosis. But what do I know? They made me stop practicing medicine w/out a degree!!! :omg:

Grits.. to be or not to be?
I don't know this from personal experience since I won't be banded until May, but I'm sure I've read on here where other people eat lots of things besides chicken! I distinctly remember someone saying they eat steak. I did an advanced search w/ crab in the title and here's what I got. As for the grits, I'm Southern too (and by the grace of God thank you!!!) and I'm sure gonna try me some grits! I'm thinking if they're watery enough to begin w/ I'll be ok. Sure hope I don't pb!

Crying over old clothes!!
Hey, a few years ago a friend of mine really hurt my feelings. We parted w/ words and haven't spoken since. She contacted me not too long ago because she had to put down one of her dogs that I'd loved and thought I would want to know. We've started talking again. She apologized for being such a sh*t and so selfish at the time. We're not back to where we were and I doubt that we'll ever be, but that's us. I guess my point is, how badly do you want her friendship back? If it's enough, you'll take the chance of rejection. Good luck.

As kids, we called that 'Indian underwear' 'cause it would sneak up on you! I can't wait for my knees to stop hurting. I look forward to not being the biggest person in my family. I look forward to not feeling ashamed at how I look. And I look forward to buying something pretty that actually looks nice on me! Now, I'm off to get on the treadmill! :music:

Really Scared
Put it out on the general board and see if you don't get more replies. I wouldn't start worrying about erosion just yet since the nurse seemed to think it was a nerve.

Really Scared
So....what did the doc say? Hope you're alright!

I was told, Im ruining my surgery
Hotpink, just an fyi (in case no one has already told you)...protein will curb your hunger quicker than bread. Your body converts bread into sugar, which increases your insulin, which makes your blood sugar rise, which causes you to be hungry! (I think that's in the correct order.) Insulin levels tell the body to store carbohydrates as fat, they also tell it not to release any stored fat. Sooo...to reiterate what everyone else is telling you...consider your food choices. That said, one breadstick shouldn't undo the work you've already done. Good luck!

no carbonatation?
Chubbola, Julie's right, the craving does go away. I haven't been banded yet (hopefully in May!), but went ahead and changed some habits thinking if I couldn't stick with them now, I wouldn't be able to stick with them afterwards. Diet Coke was one of those habits. My hubby use to swear I had DC running in my veins! I quit about a month ago though and have had maybe 2 since then. They don't taste as good as I remember! In fact, I find the taste rather cloying. So, it can be done. Good luck!

Hi I need a fill doctor in Tennessee quick
On the The American Society of Bariatric Physicians website, you can locate docs by state. It's http://www.asbp.org/ Good luck!

Can you get too much protein?
Kynekke, have you talked to your nutritionist about this? They should be able to give you some ideas about where you're getting hung up. What does your doctor say when you go in for fills? What's your Protein source? Is it liquid or are you actually eating something and if so, what?
