  1. so' date=' this Mexico thing is sounding very attractive. what about airfare? is a passport required or does a birth certificate suffice?[/quote']

I had mine done in Mexico 9 days ago. Yes you need a passport, whether or not a birth certificate will work is completely up to the agent at the border(not worth the risk to me). Air fair is at your expense, should run about 500 round trip depending on the date you choose.

  2. Couple things. The first few days after surgery you're stomach is very swollen & irritated so it will fill up faster. Secondly your body can only process between 20-27 grams in one sitting (ladies are typically closer to the 20g) so eating 50 grams in a sitting is absolutely useless. I understand this is not easy, I've cheated a bit myself, but the big sacrifice is short lived. A little momentary satisfaction will never bring you true happiness.

  3. The more time you can commit to the lower hourly rate they can offer. Also if you go to them or to a gym they frequent you can reduce their travel time, if one of your neighbors use one you can usually get a reduced rate also.

  4. Hi Veronica, I'm 9 days post op, and can tell you the absolute worst part of this whole ordeal was all the doubt and worrying befor the surgery. It's really been pretty easy since the surgery, and that being said with the knowledge that not everything went perfectly. I had a couple small issues one being that I became combative coming out of anesthesia (that kinda scares me that I can be that way) and the second was that the drain either wasn't placed properly or didn't work properly. Either way a few sets of bandage changes an everything was fine. The only regret I have is that I didn't do this sooner(I know that sounds cliché). I've given up the last 10 years of my life to low self esteem and self hatred. I couldn't walk more than 100 yards without back pain. I can't really explain why but I've had no pain of any kind since my surgery. I have a new lease on life, and soon you will to.

  5. Breeders (heterosexual people) are welcome... As long as they aren't gay bashing =P... Is anyone in South Florida?

Ha ha , I don think I've been called a breeder in at least 15 years.

And unfortunately I can understand the heart breaking thing. When I was younger I use to party at the San Antonio Mining Co. in El Paso, TX just because I new I'd never have to pay for any of my own drinks. :D

  6. Seems my procedure went a bit different than yours, so the only thing I can say is I was kept in the hospital for 2 days after surgery an given pain meds the whole time I was there. Since I left the hospital I haven't had any pain at all, a bit of pressure from gas which goes away fairly quickly.

Are you walking much? The more you walk the faster you're stomach will get back to proper operation , and that might just help relieve the pain you are feeling.

  7. OMG. I am not a sleeve yet till june 25 and i have not started my diet. But after readying all this post my mind is asking me are you sure you want to do this??? I'm going to be able to do it? I know the surgery will save my life but still my mind is ?????????

YES, do it!! There will be temptations, but I'm only 8 days out & have already lost 21#. Yes I would kill for a good burger right now, but I'll be able to have one in a few short months. The heavy sacrifice is short lived, the improved life is forever.

  8. Adahlia, has anybody lately told you how beautiful you are? Absolutely stunning.

I do have to say I feel your pain. I would kill for a Five Guys burger about now. And the taste that seems to linger is very unpleasant.

This too shall pass, the season is short, & our lives will be richer & longer for the sacrifices we make today. BTW I was sleeved on th 23rd also
