Loosing my job...

50% income tax rates, and rationing of medical services. Have you not noticed the number of Canadians paying for their own surgeries in Mexico? -
Loosing my job...
O.T.R. sleever replied to fyre_storm's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The problem lies in the fact that the increase in health insurance costs is all to often more than the profit that employee brings to the company. If a persons labor only generates $1500.00/week net revenue to a company then to pay that employee $600/week then you have to pay workers comp insurance on them $100, then you have to match their SS taxes, payroll processing, uniforms, etc 100/week. That leaves $700 now let's say out of that $700.00 1/2 of it goes to building rent, copy machines, supplies etc. Now we are down to $350/week. $350/week X 4weeks/mo = $1400.00mo gross profit without health insurance. Now maybe you could pull it off today, but how do you pay a $2000+ health insurance premium with $1400? Remember. There still needs to be a profit there too. -

Well, when you are the one actually paying for employee benefits your view changes. I'm having to change my whole business model because of Obamacare. I've taken a 60%+ increase in health insurance rates over the last 3 years, and Anthem is telling to expect my rates to double over the next 3-4years. What I was paying 650/mo per employee for is now costing me over 1100 & will go up to over 2200 -
not enough protein..

You'll absolutely still lose weight w/o protein. Think of all that useless muscle you can get rid of, and who needs hair? -

You don't think mandated $2000/mo health insurance isn't the primary cause of this? -

Well, considering what I've seen posted about another surgeon that charges $4500, what you received was a huge improvement. Last I heard Garcia is $4700, right? I think at that price point, since all your "complaints" are really centralized around your convenience, you received a good value. I will say if you want to be catered to more, and have more interaction, you would have had to gone to a higher priced surgeon. For anybody that feels that these problems are aggregous then I'd highly recommend spending the $5500 to go to dr. Ponce de leon or Dr. Kelly. This is just my observation/opinion. -
My friend keeps calling me a "Cheater"
O.T.R. sleever replied to lilstyler's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Flip it on her. When she gets in her car to go to the store, she's a cheater. The car is a tool to make transit easier When she goes to a resturaunt, she's a cheater, she's s paying someone to cook for her. When she buys new cloths, she's a cheater, why not break out the needle & thread? We all do things to make our life easier every day. Many of us find food to be our weakness, if getting a tool to help with the heavy lifting is cheating, then I'm a proud cheater. -

smaller measurements with vsg then without @ same weight ?
O.T.R. sleever replied to mikeross's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My bet, and this is just a guess is that you are much better hydrated this time around. Water weighs a lot, and if you are well hydrated, water weight is going to spread throughout your bloodstream rather than focusing around your waist, butt, thighs, etc. my theory says that even at the same weight, you have less fat on your body, therefore your central mass is less. -
