Im in Chicago!!

My son was born in Naperville ! We lived there about a year! Love Chicago! Great city!

My surgery is December 17th!! I've been on the liquid diet 4 days now' date=' it's hard, but I actually feel great and it's boosted my inner strength somehow. I also started seeing a therapist this week to give me support through all of this. There is nothing wrong with taking charge of your health and happiness. I know, you are right! It's taking care of myself! Putting my own health first! When is ur surgery scheduled?

Why terrified?! I got my doc to give me liquid xanax to help me through the anxiety...Im terrified too! But I think we'll be ok!

It just seems surreal to me. It's like someone else is doing this, not me. I cannot believe I need surgery to lose weight. I feel like a failure. But, at the same time, I'm excited to feel thin again...but what if it doesn't work? So many thoughts in my head! Ugh!

Anyone else getting banded in December? If so lets keep in touch until our day.
