Ever since I got my surgery date! Once a week when i weigh my self i take a picture of myself, i am only 5 weeks out and have lost 30# but it is amazing to see myself change each step of the way

Soon! You do ned to get up and walk as much as possible to get the gas out and for your kidneys to excrete all the chemical s from anesthesia.once you can take pain meds by mouth you get immeddiate relief that the morphine pump does not provide. -

Remember, no liquids 30 min before, 30 min during and 30 min after a meal. Also remember to stop eating after 10 min, take a 10 min break and then resume eating during your 30 min meal time. Chew till everything liquifies in your mouth.

It was gross. I started dry heaving as soon as i started to swallow. Thankfully my xray was standing up. Had nasuea for a few hours afterwards. What doesnt kill you only makes you stronger, right?

BCBS of NC only required 2 consecutive years documented weight. It could be from your PCP, or any other documented visit to any doctor or even the ER.
