Hi everyone. I was sleeved 5/17. Im hoping that this is normal and im not a weirdo! Im able to take sip after sip when drinking my Water, tea, etc... i always hear that everyone has to take breaks and i don't. I also am able to take bites and swallow them without discomfort. I dont have to take 3 minutes between bites...is that bad?? *sorry about the half post i got busy and put my phone down and it posted anyway -d'andra

Thanks love, i just meant with my nut yesterday and juice is fine just needs to be diluted. I love juice and dont want to give it up for the rest of my life. My nut says as long as its diluted i can always drink it. Thank you for your advice. [= try laughing cow ice cream its low fat and still tastes good. -d'andra

Hey guys. The title kinda says it all i got sleeved may 17th. I just came back from the doc, i lost 15pds since surgery for a combined loss of 28 pds. Im super excited and just wanted to share the good news. -d'andra

I wish i could help more in that department but i have never been a smoker. Have you tried the Patches, there is also a pill (not sure of the name) that helps ween you off. Try this: throw out whatever packs you have and dont buy anymore. I would hate for you to have complications with surgery because of your habit. You have a decision to make, whats more important: the length of your life or a cigarette. If you can answer that question then you can quit smoking. Tap into that will power that you have and fight for your health. Its not going to be easy but anything truly worth fighting for never is. I hope things work out for you. -d'andra

Is your Protein Powder flavored, because if it is that might cause problems. Just take your time your sleeve might not be ready for that kind of protein. If the puree isnt going well then retreat back to Clear liquids and try again in a week or so. Try sugar free pudding and Jello and mix your powder with that. What exactly happens when using the powder, vomiting?? -d'andra
