  1. I was like that too. And it was a horrible cycle. I wouldn't eat' date=' get nauseous, eat carbs (bcs they are easy to digest when a tummy is upset.). I was so worried about this pre-sleeve. I'm now 5 months out and if i forget to eat for over 5 hours, it kinda comes back. But if I drink something it goes away, and then I eat heathy. Do make sure your doc sends you home w anti-nausea meds after surgery, bcs you won't be able to eat. I took them for about 2-3 weeks postop and was fine once I could eat mushy. U can PM me if you want the name of the medication. I'm not at home right now to look for it.[/quote']

    Zofran

  2. Thanks' date=' Cheri, for the advice about changing Ppi. In addition to my prescribed one each morning, I started talking Pepcid OTC at night, but I'm starting to realize I may be misinterpreting the gurgling as hunger when I should address the ant-acids I'm on. I have my 3 month post-op visit this Friday and my prescription needs refilling, maybe we can change brand or increase dosage. I'm trying to keep the Protein as my focus and since I'm still struggling with meats, dairy is my go-to for at least one meal, besides a shake for breakfast. Maybe my gall bladder is acting up. We'll see.[/quote']

I was sleeved may and I had a lot of issues but I went to a gastro doctor. Well they found a ulcer but the dr did say to take gasx. He told me the stomach is so small any gas that gets in it makes it feel bloated and uncomfortable . Gasx does give relief and he changed the ppi to dexliant

  3. My surgeon just called. I have to get an upper GI. <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' /> he wouldn't give me anything for the nausea. Blah! I have an appt with my pcp tomorrow since my surgeon is in FL and I'm in TX. Hopefully he'll give me something for the nausea. Zofran is the smaller pill right?

Zofran comes in liquid and sublingual

  4. I'm praying this misery passes. I am nauseas even after 2 bags of Fluid yesterday. I've been up since 4am in the pot "losing fluids." I'm only 2 weeks post op but feel like there's no end in site and I made a huge mistake by having this surgery. This is so more emotionally and physically draining than I expected having already had a lap band. Not sure where to turn? ;(

Did u have h hernia repair.

  5. Hi I was sleeved in may and I felt the same . Don't feel for a min you are bothering the dr. I felt like that and I ended up having issues . I was severely dehydrated and apparently had stricter and two weeks after surgery I had a infected gall bladder . The dr had to dilate the area after many swallow tests . And try broth and sf pop sickles . I just started to eat they did put a stent in omg that was the most painful thing ever it was suppose to stay in 4 wks after 3 days I demanded it out Kim in ct

  6. Well 7 months has only resulted in a --40lb loss:( I know that everyone is different but I feel like if I can just get my energy back maybe the exercise can be stepped up? I have been yo-yo'ing between 210-202 for over two an a half months now! Talk about frustration?

I'm hungry all the time' date=' which makes this even harder! I eat and drink my Proteins and love Water so that's no prob, but I eat too much too often I'm sure because I'm just not losing.

The exercise is hard because I'm winded so easily & I'm just so dang tired! I have no energy and don't sleep much. Have had issues with sleep ever since starting this weight loss journey in February.

Ughhhhhhhhh I'm not sorry, just frustrated!!!;([/quote']
