You look amazing!!! How much weight did you lose from being sleeved?
Do you mean me????
-
Wow ....drains 35 days post op ???? You have that much drainage still ?
-
I was told typically the ghrlein hormones are in the part of the stomach that gets removed that is not the case for everyone.
-
Did you lose much weight from the skin removal? Not that much. I'm still only two weeks out though.
-
You look fabulous for only 10 days out. Who is your surgeon? Do you have a large scar?
Dr Lund. My body is healing amazingly. Usually takes a year out for scar to start being unnoticeable but at the rate I'm going it will be half that time. And the incision is so low and thin. Awesome.

My recovery was easy. I've always been very lucky with that. I just had a Tummy Tuck 13 days ago and I'm moving all over the place lol.

Dr. Garcia' date=' Dr. Aceves & Dr. Alvarez are on the top of my lists. Thank you, AChristian! How was your recovery?[/quote']My sister is in Tijuana now. She just had her surgery with Fernando Garcia. She is raving about the doc, nurses and hospital...and my sister is hard to please!!!! Lol

I may eventually want to have a child or 2 but I know once I get plastics I will not want to blow back up...lol I also know I don't want to wait and have a body that hangs low in all areas. My partner loves me the way I am now' date=' but I can't imagine being in front of him in all my glory with a body that looks like gravity did a number on it lol decisions decisions[/quote']
My girlfriend had a Tummy Tuck and then got pregnant. It did not mess up her tummy tuck so ask the doc! Her stomach went back to the same.

My sister and her husband just went there. No problems at all. She said she has done it a hundred times. She use to live in San Diego. I did it once and I had no problems.

One thing to consider in going to TJ is how far you live from mx. I just took a plane from San to lax to dal/fw to Missouri after the sleeve and it was so exhausting. I can't imagine being all bandaged up (probably with a drain or 2) for that long trip. *shudder*That said' date=' I could be eating my words in a year or two, if I want work done bad enough.[/quote']
You are right. I just went thru plastics and its so invasive I can't imagine doing it in Mexico even though I did my sleeve there. If I did plastics in Mexico that included Tummy Tuck , I would recommend staying there 2 weeks or more.

*WITHOUT WANTING TO OPEN IT UP AGAIN*A BMI of 30 is obese (just). If someone has made good attempts to get to a healthy weight and can't (like all of us) I say the sooner the better.
Well it was the most informed, intelligent, and positive comment made on this thread.

Life is about opening up our minds and hearts to love and understand others whether their lives or experiences are the same as ours or not.

You are a very smart man Dean...very open minded, sympathetic, understanding, and non-judge mental. I believe that is the kind of man His farther and i created in our son and I'm so proud of him on his 21st bday!!!!!!

Does everyone have their Ghrelin hormone removed?

ghrelin hormone can also affect you getting cold easier. Apparently it plays a part in warming the body. So I'm told. But it would make sense because since being sleeved, I am always freezing!!!!!
