How are you feeling? Recovering? Are you home from the hospital yet? Just wanted to check in since I haven't heard anything back since your drop off time.

I'm only 4 days post IP but the first time I took a big gulp it hurt!! so now I am afraid, if I accidentally gulp too much then I try to hold it in my mouth and swallow a little bit down at a time. Even my pain meds I am only taking 1-2 mls at a time and my dosage is for 15 so it takes a little time. because of the tiny sips I am not getting much water in at all, I wasn't worried while at the hospital because I had a constant i.v drip, but now at home I definitely need to kick it up a notch.

Just to add, I personally love apple juice, and I saw where someone else had mentioned a brand sweetened,with Splenda, it sounded expensive. However, Walmart has their store brand of apple juice, next to all the other juices and it is already a little watered down but sweetened with Splenda. It was $2.86 for a gallon and really delicious!!

A twinkie... lol now that I have never heard of! Well of course I have heard if the snack but in reference to a vagina. That is really funny!! however since I am a lesbian I can say I like both versions of the twinkie lol luckily one version is more cream filled than the other, or is it lmao Growing up we called our vagina a bunny, I guess it looked like bunny ears.... I always thought I would teach my daughter this lingo but I took the boring road and call it a hoo-hoo

I packed a toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant and chapstick... Well those are the things I actually used. Other things in my bag that did not get used were socks (the hospital gives you ones with traction) , a robe (its much easier to just keep your hospital gown on, and if you feel exposed they will give you a second one to put on backwards), a heating pad which is apparently a big no no after surgery, mints which I thought would cure my dry mouth after surgery but you aren't allowed anything in your mouth besides toothpaste which is why it is important to bring one that you like because the hospitals sucks, I brought ear plugs and an eye mask that I never used since I had my own room, I also brought gas x strips that I never used because they dont do anything for the anesthesia gas, and the tummy gas went away with the anti nausea medicine they were giving me. they supplied me with plenty of blankets and pillows. So I packed a very small bag and I was definitely over prepared lol the only thing I would have brought other than the things I actually used would be crystal light packets since they only gave me lemonade flavored packets and it was too acidic for my tummy so I just drank plain Water. Hope this helps =)

Yay... I'm getting discharged from the hospital today. I'm so glad we had this forum so now I know when I go home I don't just need to photograph my body, but also my special place, so I can see overall results!! =)

Yay!! I got the clearance from the doctor saying I can go home. I had to stay an extra day since I had a pretty significant size hiatal hernia that had to be repaired during surgery. Which is causing a lot of extra pain and pressure. The doctor came in a pulled out the drainage tube and that was that strangest feeling, I guess I was expecting to barely feel it and it was not very pleasant. I am still walking and getting around good, I can't wait to shower and lay in my own bed!! Although I have been pretty miserable the past two days I am so glad I went through with this surgery, and can't wait to start seeing results!!

I was sleeved on 6/7... I do have a drain tune that drains into a little bulb. I have it in the pocket of my hospital gown and forget all about it. My first sip of water/broth didn't hurt. The contrast for the upper g.i was awful especially since it was the.first thing in my stomach after 38 hours. Luckily it only takes a few sips to complete the test. The worst worst worst feeling for me is the nausea, if I swallow too much air it gets in my tiny stomach and I feel like its gonna explode!!

Maybe that's the list her students made =) penis pocket and roastbeef curtains (which is referring the outside and what originally started this forum) are two of my faves from the list lol

Turkey meatballs are good. You can buy them already made put then in a crock pot. next to the salad dressing in the grocery store with the ethnic sauces there is a sweet chili sauce made my iron chef with a yellow And rest label its delicious end then sweeten it up with sugar free grape smuckers jelly

It definitely depends what stage you are at. I would google hungry girl appetizers since her recipes are easy and low calories. A few ideas would be pigs in a blanket, you can cut one Pillsbury crescent into three to cut down on the carbs and they have the mini weenies in turkey dogs. Definitely a yummy treat. Another thing that is easy and delicious is buffalo chicken dip http://www.franksredhot.com/recipes/franks-redhot-buffalo-chicken-dip-RE1242 or you can google Hungry girl buffalo chicken dip and find a healthier version.

Jane i'm glad you were inspired! =) I forgot that Christian makes Ana use ben wa balls in "Fifty Shades of Grey" but I think she just refers to them as silver balls not the actual name. Otherwise not as many people would need to google! lol

Haha... You did go there! That's why you need panties as a buffer, so if they fall out they can't go far! You turned the kinky up a notch with assuming you'd be "free ballin" on the treadmill lol

Congrats and good luck with your surgery! Don't worry about sleep tonight, because you are going to get really good sleep during and after surgery =)

Before surgery I didn't get to rest because like 10 different people come and talk to you. However after surgery I slept ALL day and woke up at 8:30 pm, which is why I am up now and haven't been able to sleep all night. My upper go test is supposed to be about 8 this morning then FINALLY I will get to sip water. Funny that I couldn't eat or drink anything today and my stomach isn't growling and I am not even a little hungry. i'm impressed by this surgery already!! You should be here now... Good luck again, and congrats on your new life!

How funny!.... What time do you have to be here if you are still awake? I had to be here at 8am and got onto the operating table at 10:10am. Good luck and keep me posted!

If you really wanna keep things snug invest in a pair of Ben Wa Balls!! It will be a work out for your naughty place and feel good at the same time Try keeping those in while using the elliptical and you really will be a virgin again lol

Linus..,lol. I promised myself as soon as I get too small for something it is getting donated since I NEVER want to go back up. The only thing i'm keeping is one of my biggest pair or Jeans because I hope one day that I can be like the people on commercials where you can stand in one pant leg!

Surgery went well, however after a cesarean and a heart surgery, this is, without a doubt the worst pain I have ever experienced!! I am keeping my head up though because pain is only temporary but the results of this surgery will effect the rest of my life!! Where in south Florida are you from?

Thanks so much! i'm up and leaving soon! My stomach is in knots, but I know this is going to be great! Will keep you posted when I am out of surgery!
