    Sleeping In Bed

This is all normal. I was banded 4/17/12 and I'm just NOW able to sleep or lay on my tummy. If you've vet been pregnant, you are familiar with the pillow fort. For the past month and a half, I've slept in a pillow fort. The important key is to keep on icing even I you feel it doesn't hurt. It will help and you'll be able to sleep better eventually. It does get better. Try the pillow fort and sleeping on your side with ice. Also take your liquid tylenol/Advil. Healing takes time and you will be able to sleep normally again.

    Weight Training, Yay Or Nay???

I am also 7 weeks post op... 20 lbs lost and have hit a plateau. I just joined a gym and start my work outs tomorrow. I've lost weight before using a mostly cardio workout and Everytime I added weight training I would gain... So I understand exactly how you feel. I haven't been counting calories though. So I should probably incorporate that as well. We should keep in touch in each others progress with exercise. Good luck!

    1St Fill!!!

I think it's normal because your body is telling you that you re tray for a fill. Hopefully after the full, you will have some relief of hunger. From what ive read, it sounds like it takes a few fill to reach your sweet spot.
  5. I downloaded the ap but cannot login. When I normally login from the website, I click on the Facebook ICON and I automatically login. I do not see that ICON on the iphone ap. It requires a login email and password. I tried using my Facebook email and password but that does not work. Please help me to login on the iphone ap.

Anyone From April Had Banded Filled?

My surgery was on 4/17. I received my first fill on 5/16 however they only put in 1.5cc in a 10cc band... I'm already hungry and fighting the tempatations... my stomach is growling all the time. My next fill is set for July 30th and I honestly don't know if I can wait that long... I didn't know that I had to schedule adjustments several months in advance! Make sure you check with your doctor and make all your appointments in far in advance! Oh, and the liquid diet AFTER the first fill is hard to go back to - but that's where I lost the most after the fill. Stay on it as long as they tell you. Good Luck!
  7. Hey all. I was banded on April 17th with the new iBand. The only difference in the iBand is that they also stictch your stomach into a pleat as to help with the progression of weight loss. This procedure was done along with Heital hernia repair and weeks later, I am just not starting to feel back to normal. I was off work for 2 weeks and I was not expecting this long of a recovery time. It's May 23rd now and I'm down 18 lbs. I've had my first adjustment on May 16th and I have to say I was expecting a much easier ride. I'm steady at the same weight for the past week. I'm hungry all the time and now that all the swelling has dissapated, I'm anxious and questioning why I only received a 1.5cc adjustment in a 10cc band. However, reading this forum has helped me to understand that there are a lot of people that feel the same way I do and the only answer is patience... ahhh... the p-word (never has been a strong quality for me). Anyways, I hope that through this forum, I can manage through the emotional rollercoaster of weight loss and continue to put my best foot forward.

    Banded 4/17

Congrats! I was banded on 4/17 as well. The Liquid diet was very hard and I hate having to go back to it after adjustments - at least, I've only had 1 adjustmnet thus far.

    1St Fill!!!

I had my first adjustment last Wednesday and it didn't hurt very much (depending on your threshhold for pain) - I'm a baby when it comes to pain. The most painful part is having to go back on a liquid diet for a few days.
