    Had my first appointment today..

I've read on these forums a out a lot of people who had to have and removed and converted to sleeve. Personally, I never liked the idea if a "foreign" object around my stomach...that's my personal opinion. I'm sure you'll make the right decision for you. Good luck!
  6. Has anyone had surgery at Toledo Hospital and if so, would you mind sharing your experience? In early stages...

    BCBS of MI

Great question..looking for an answer myself. Does anyone know if BCBS of MI requires documents to be submitted before approval or do they automatically approve after doctors office calls them? Met with the NUT for 2nd visit..4 more to go. Hoping that is all I will have to do??? Thanks anyone:)
  8. When you lose the weight and incorporate exercise, do you still get the saggy skin?

First of all congratulations on such a significant weight loss!! (I'm still in the waiting the game). From everything I've read, I understand hair loss to have a connection with not enough Protein?

    Hair loss

That is what I've heard as well..lack of Protein. I haven't joined the official "Sleevers club" yet (5 more NUT to go), however I'm reading a ton on this site to become more informed. This is an AWESOME site with an overwhelming amount of support!! Love all you guys & gals!

    Really disgusted

I've decided to not share this with anyone. This journey is NOT easy and I honestly believe those who think that are uneducated about the whole process and may never been in our situations. I figure no one asked me how I got this way it's not their business how I became healthier! Think of this as a tool. Keep a ile in your face and know that we are all here to support you!!

  16. Good morning and congratulations on such a remarkable weight loss! WOW! I'm in the early stages if this journey however from what I've read on these forums is that then"stalling" seems normal. My assumption is that your body is playing catch-up to your quick loss. Hang in there, I'm certain this will pass: sounds like your doing all the correct things. Once more..congrats on the loss!! Cheers!

    4 days out!

Your going to do fine. Generally the anesthesiologist/CRNA will give you a little something before surgery to take the edge off, If you ask? Just think good thoughts and know we are all here to support you!! Sending hugs from MI
  18. I agree with you 100%! Our lives MUST change after surgery. MUST. Key word here. Keep on your path and know we are here to support you!!!
