After I went through the process of getting everything done and was approved, they call me friday and tell me they won't do the lap band because I have lupus

It is sad that family will not support you in something that means so much, going through the samething with my husband and I won't have mines until the 24 of june, but this is not about him it's about me and my health he offers me junk food and I refuse, I think he's afraid of me losing weight and he won't even try to make changes.

I have thought about this for a long time and decided this is what's best for me to get control of my health and my life , time for me to make better choices for my health and this is it, we will do well or we would not have made this decision.

Just got my date today 24 June 12 excited and nervous all in one

I go and see my surgeon tomorrow and hopefully I can have my surgery in June

I find out tomorrow when my surgery date is I'm excited and I didn't think about baby food fruits so glade to be a part of this site

I'm with you I don't want a PA to do my fills when I have my lap band done, I would prefer my doctor do it since he's the one putting in the lap band

I have been so excited I'm going to see if they will schedule my next visit with the surgeon as soon as I get my next appointment with the dietician lol

I'm going to continue to see the nutritionist I think that would help me a lot

Just have to see the nutritionist twice and then I have to meet with the surgeon

After you have completed all the requirements before you can get your date of surgery Do you still have to be approved by tricare even if they gave you the referrals for the dr, nutritionist and so forth ?

I have started this process and I'm a little nervous this is the first site I have found with something positive to say about the lap band, I was wonder how long did the whole process take from approval from insurance to surgery date
