Had surgery yesterday morning. They also fixed a hernia. The gas is not too bad but I am having a lot of pain near an incision. It aches when I am sitting but if I move at all it feels like my insides are ripping. Did anyone else feel like that?Your doctor told you no lifting, bending and stretching because of the stitches inside your tummy. If you do to much to soon those stitches will pop loose.Give your body time to heel,or it's gonna feel as if you pulled a nerve if a stitch comes loose.

Yes!! I am also having trouble sleeping. I am up every couple of hours and I am not sure why? I am not in that much pain!! I was wondering if the pain meds had anything to do with it? What pain meds are you taking if any?
I went through the same thing! Your boby is trying to adjust to the change.Cant sleep cause you can't get in the positions that your use to.Not hungry but your body is telling you time to eat,so that you can go to sleep.Use that heating pad it will help you sleep a little longer, but it's just gonna take about three weeks to get back to normal.

I was banded on 4/26. I lost 14 lbs with the pre-op and post-op diets and stopped losing about 3-4 weeks ago.I'm going for my first fill today and really hoping that my results improve. I'm supposed to get three cc's today.
I keep reading that I shouldn't expect much weight loss in the beginning' date=' but I'm hoping that I'm getting past the beginning point. I think it's a bit depressing and im trying to hang in there.[/quote']

I'm getting very discouraged.... I was banded in 3/22/12 and to date I've only lost 13lbs. I had my first fill 5/9 and feel no restriction. I'm trying to avoid the scale until I go back for my second fill in a few weeks. Guess I had high hopes from reading success stories where people lost 50+ in 5 months or so. Anyone else experience slow weight lose? I'm starting to feel like I have fought for nothing. Any and all advice is welcome!!!!!!!!Everyone is different! You need to stop the pitty party and do the best you can. Were here for you.
