LouiseC you are so right! I've never really thought about it this way AND this attitude/behavior pertains to other successes one has in their lives. Truly eye opening moment for me.

Wow, I can't believe so many have dealt with such "friends" its a shame. My sister had the surgery last year and has lost about 120lbs since then and I couldn't imagine behaving that way towards her. Her success is making it difficult for me to make it through my six months lol. I just wanna be sleeved already.
  4. Where'd you get the tank from?
  5. Thanks for your responses guys. @Pdx you are totally right but hey you know just generalizing..... I am currently working out and doing light weight lifting to tone muscles up before surgery.

The Horrible Feeling That You Are Done

I haven't had my surgery yet but I have lost weight and hit stalls and the key to unlocking your stall is to shock your body and do something new, instead of eating 3 meals a day eat five small ones, breakfast, small snack, lunch, small snack, dinner and nothing after 6. Pump up the fluids (water). Change your workouts, when speedwalking no longer was doing the job my trainer shocked my body by speedwalking for 30sec then jogging a minute, then stop lay down and do 25 sit up and restart the cycle for 1 hour. Out bodies adapt quickly so when you see its no longer responding to what has worked in the past its time to change it up. Interval workouts are the greatest for that continued drop on the scale. All the best to you all.
  8. @Mina T, I am speechless what a great, awesome testimony! Thank you for sharing. @Dyscordia we are in the same boat. I am beginning this journey again for the 2nd or 3rd time and I'm so over all the hoopla and just want it to be done already. I'm extremely impatient and want what I want, NOW. I have lost some weight before, 30-40 lbs. with the help of my husband who is an ex marine and a cop now. He works out all the time and runs miles at a time. I want to run so bad.....and when I listened and beat toyed myself around that track I lost 25 lbs in two weeks and the rest in the following two weeks. I am the queen of excuses as he says and I stopped because my body hurt soooo bad it was difficult to care for my kids. As expected I gain it all back plus some. Got tired again, hired a personal trainer last year in March she gave me great tips on workouts and eating right. I lost 30 lbs from march to April, was nine lbs from being under 300 then my gallbladder tried to kill me, or so I thought at the time. Had gallbladder surgery at the beginning of May took me a while to fully recover, no longer had the personal trainer, got too expensive, couldn't take hubby's brutal workouts and now I'm back at 340. However I started walking about 3 weeks ago walking 3 miles while hub ran and he just told me walking was a waste of time for results I wanted, so for about a week I've been running the straight side of the track n walking the curves about 5 times. Hurts like heck but no pain, no gain, right? I have the my fitness pal for a few days and I'm still trying to figure it out. Sorry I didn't mean to ramble on....

My Story (Lengthy But Its Mine)

Wow what an ordeal, praise be to God you are alive, modern day miracle! I am so afraid for those who don't know. I would have to do something, post flyers, boycott phrase his office.....something. He should not be allowed to hurt anyone else........go to the local news, maybe.

  21. Can anyone help me with how I must pay my deductible an so forth. I have Cigna as well. Cigna said I will have a hospital copay of 250 a deductible of 200 and my Out of pocket is 1500. Do all these monies have to be paid in full before surgery can take place?

    Copay, Deductible Mumbo Jumbo...

No I just have Cigna and those are the figures they gave me in respect to the surgery. Now for my 6 mths sup. doctors visits I won't have to pay my copay per my doctor. Anyhow Cigna rep said copays don't count towards out of pocket total.
