welcome Melissa and congrats to you. I know all the changes to your body can be frustrating but you will get to know this new you soon. I am hoping you have a speedy receovery with very little pain.

I know it is hard but I know you can do it Focus on protien that you can eat when I eat my protien(eggs, etc) instead of drinking them I stay fuller longer and I am more satisfied than with just the protien shakes so I plan my meals and supplement with my shake. I know you will do well hang in there I would try to get it moved up like someone else suggested or at least ask them to call you if someone cancels thier appt

Well the last of our group is going in for surgery today. I thank you so much for participating I never expected this many people would reach out. My goal was for everyone to see someone going in at the same time and to make connections and I am so pleased. Thank you for all the encouragement and I hope that I encouraged someone else. I love you guys :wub: I feel like we are all on the same team this journey is so much nicer with teammates .... I tried isopure(GNC) it's clear like juice but has more protien I would mix it with G2 it kind of taste mediciny if not diluted that is how I kept my protien up. I'm really big on high protien I know if you go to low it can cause hair loss so I am almost phobic about it I even used the protien shots they are clear 120 calories and 26g and it is aonly about 2oz of liquid. I just don't want you to get burnt out on broth this week There are other options you can try that are still clear liquids

not everyone loses their hunger. I am just now starting to have times when I'm hungry mainly in the morning I seem to be really hungry but throughout the day I never seem to be hungry keep sipping your broth I think the warm broth made my stomach feel so much better and with the gas I didn't have much room in there so I sipped through out the day. I don't think you have a limit I doubt you would be able to drink too much (calories wise) Sounds like you are doing great

i'm 12DYS post op too....I just got to cocky for my own good...I just survived my first stuck episode today I must say it re-enforced the reason for all the rules. It brought it all home for me I've never had that much pressure in my chest and the food felt like it was in the back of my throat and I couldn't swallow it down..terrible I think I am having soup for dinner my body has bee traumitized enough(I'm a drama queen..smile)
