congrats to you I am scheduled for the 15of August and I start my pre-op diet next week it's getting really REAL now(smile)

nothing wrong with calling today at least your would know for sure that it was sent and received They sent mine on tues(17th) and I was approved on wed(18th) I still haven't received anything from my insurance My surgeons office told me while I was there so actually I could still be waiting to hear from my insurance if I wouldn't have had an appt with my Surgeon on Thurs(19th)

Me....me....I am getting banded in AUG too my date is 15AUG

I go see the surgeon tomorrow. I hope I walk out with a surgery date tomorrow I have completed all the appt and test that was scheduled for me

I reduced my carbs I seem to lose better that way for my me I haven't sworn off carbs and I am no where close the the small amount that is suggested with Aktins I try to focus on healthier carbs(not processed carbs). I am not banded yet and I know the band will HELP me with this but what is a good plan for me might not be for you some people just focus on smaller portions but are unlimited as far as types of foods. don't be discouraged you have to find what suites you and if you could do it completely on your own what would be the purpose of the lapband just keep trying and learn what is LIVEABLE but helps your reach your goal.
