My date is October 29th a little nervous but excited

I am having the consult with the surgeon tomorrow yeah, are there any questions I should ask that any of you wished you would have asked that I should? I am going to be self pay and I do not live near the clinic so I do know there are doctors in my comunity that do the folllow up and fills.

Still trying to make a decision but when I called the other clinic they only offer support for five years I like that CIBO's is lifetime. I am a four hour flight from T.O so all my care will be by phone or email and a doctor in the community to do the fills.

Hi Brian I am still trying to make the decision to have the surgery (don't know what Im waiting for) however I do believe I am going to go with CIBO from the talks I had with them and also the lifetime of support really makes me want to go with this clinic. How has your post band life? Any regrets getting banded?

I did the optifast program that where I drank 3- shakes a day nothing in between drank lots of water and I lost hair then also. The hair does grow back.(unfortuntaly the 60lbs I lost in 3 months did too thats why I am thinking of lapband)

So I called them it they said they suture the band to prevent slippage.Did you have this done?

I get where your coming from I was talking to my husband about it and he said it seems quite drastic and I said so is being 120lbs overweight and being in the morbid obese catagory!!!

So how are you doing now? how are your results so far? Any advice you could give??

I am in the same state of mind as you, I want to get a lap band but I have such a fear. what if it doesnt work but what if I dont do something..... I keep loosing then gaining more I am 5'8"280lbs. I remeber being 190 lbs and thinking I gotta loose that is my goal weight now ugh Your so right make a choice and committ to the changes!!

Im in Alberta too, This is what I've been doing, what is the difference now?and when you dieted before? Do you have all your weight you want to loose? Im looking at an appointment for August or september I wish I could make my mind up and do it the next day

Hi Im from Canada, I have been lurking around the boards trying to make a decision to get a lap band. I have been on numorous diets lost 60lbs gained etc. I am so tired of YOYOing. I am currently at a 42% BMI. When I think of surgery I think its such a drastic measure then I look at my health currently and think that is quite drastic too......stilll deciding.......
