Nope, we are staying at the Hotel Lucerna. I'm excited for them. They will be the 4th and 5th sleeve in my family. My aunt is soon to follow as #6. My grandparents are also considering the sleeve which would make 8 sleeves in my family.

I'm not having surgery. I had it two years ago feb 7th. I am bringing my 15 year old daughter and my mother to Dr. Kelly on the 17th. I'm excited for them and whar the future holds for them. Good luck to the rest of you. Your lives will be changed for the better. I would have the sleeve done again in a heartbeat.

I had the sleeve, gallbladder and hernia surgery all at the same time.... They had me blown up like a balloon for about four hours!!! I can't compare to any other surgeries but the gas pain was awful!!! I'm the kind of guy who has broken an ankle and just laced my boot up tighter and went to work. Pain never really bothered me until this gas crap they inflated me with.... I was walking around the hospital within minutes of waking up because they told me it would help.... Kinda embarrassing though due to the amount of gas that worked its way out my rear. I just wanted it out!!!

I just want to say congrats to everyone!!! The sleeve rocks and y'all are rocking the sleeve!!!

"FOUND" BUT HOW COULD U EAT SCRAMBLED eggs A WEEK AFTER SURGERY. OMGOne bite at a time and slowly.... I had my surgery on 2/7 and I went out with my wife on valentines day at a friends restaurant and he made me scrambled eggs.... They rocked.

I think everyone has that feeling in the beginning even if they won't admit it. I did. I gets better. I had to eat scrambled eggs a week after my surgery because everything else was horrible. Now I eat and drink anything I want. There's no going back so look to the future. This will all be a distant memory soon.....

For me it was like I would lose weight then stall as I lost inches... It's like I lost fat and then my remaining fat moved around before losing more??? It's not scientific but that's what it seemed to me.... You will lose just give it some time.... 126 lost and very happy. I had many stalls though!!!

Misery loves company.... As a father and grandfather I want the best for my kiddos..... As should your mother... Get it over with and only look back to admire you rear that will look good in jeans!!!

Two people that told me how stupid I was have since had the surgery!!! Lol

It is worth it.... The only people I found that had a problem with my surgery were others who were also fat and didn't have the courage to have the surgery..... I would have the surgery again in a heartbeat..... It is a life changing experience in a good way. You have no idea what you are missing until you start shedding those pounds and can do things you never thought you could do..... Go for it and good luck!!!!!!!

I had my surgery 2/7/12 and have been at my size for 4 months. I started at 370 and was 350 the day if my surgery. I'm 244 now and have been for a while.... I lost fast but I was in reasonably good shape for a big guy.... I had to be able to pass fitness tests where I work...

Yeah, 225 may be a little small for me as well.... That's the Docs goal for me.... I'm ok where I'm at I just need to lose a little more flab around the middle..... If I can replace that weight with muscle I'd be good...
-
I won't see it because my lean weight is 200 pounds.... I'm 6'3" and large framed. My goal is 225 and I'm at 244.... I'm just a big guy

I would never admit crying but I love being able to buy jeans that fit right. I wear western jeans and when I was big they looked like I had taken a dump in my pants and the pockets were way far apart.... Now I can buy jeans that look good with a shirt tucked in........
Keep up the good work... The more you lose the more you wanna shop!!!

Congrats..... I will never see the onederland but I remember when I got to my twonderland!!! It's awesome....

It seems to me that everyone is different........ I was sleeved on feb 7th and I have lost 51ish. I haven't lost any in about a week now though. It seems to matter how much you have to lose. I have a couple friends that have lost more and one that is losing slower. In our case it seems that the ones that have more to lose have lost more and vise versa. Just my two cents.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm at a stall myself. I went from 350 at the start of my pre-surgery liquid diet. I lost down to 307 and now have gained to 308 and have stayed there the last few days. I can't wait to have a 2 in the first place of my weight. Stalls bite!!!

I'm only 4 1/2 days out and I can't seem to do the Clear Liquids. I started full liquids and that seems to help. I'm liking cream of potato Soup. I put it in the blender just to make sure there is no lumps. I have re fried Beans in the pantry waiting on me. How soon did you start on the musical fruit? ??

Ok, I'm not a January 2014 sleever. I was a February 2012 sleever. I am taking my mother and daughter to Dr. Kelly for their sleeves on January 17th. I'm excited for them because I know what it will do for them. If anyone else will be at the Hotel Lucerna this weekend let me know. I will be babysitting them and will be glad to talk to anyone else about how the sleeve worked for me and what I have learned about it in the past two years. Good luck to all who are about the start their journey to the new them......
