Went to my appt on April 17th to do the questionnaire required for WLS request. My doctor says I meet the criteria and will now just have to wait for the Bariatric center at the hospital to contact me for an interview and acceptance appt. I can't wait to get this started!

I found out there is a possible option to have the VSG or RNY .That would discuss that with me once I receive an appt . I wanted the VGS originally, but after researching about both surgeries I'm leaning toward RNY more. I just want my WLS tool to be the most effective, I know I still have to work at making it happen.

So now I wait and hang out here with you all :D

Got a surprise in the mail today! The surgery center has received my dr's referral and will be sending me an appt time by June 12th. They give a 56 day max waiting time for an appt. So hopefully it will come in 2wks like this letter did, that would be complete awesomeness! Lol! :lol: So now I keep on waiting and hanging out! ;)

Went to the Information Meeting, next week will schedule consult with surgeon. Hoping I will get in the week or so. Looks like I'm leaning towards RNY, but will ask about the VSG at the consult appt. Either way I LOSE! ....Weight!
