i just cant wait to actuallychew on something.my post op consists of two weeks on full liquids then soft diet for the next two weeks.dr has cleared me to go ahead and do soft foods on sunday.he says im going to be full off half a cup of food.as long as it is something i can chew on ill be good.cant wait to hit that 75 mark like u :-)

congrats!when was ur surgery?i actually havent tried on any jeans yet cause my belly incision still feels kinda tender.cant wait to try some on though :-)

For those of you who've already been sleeved' date=' as your incisions healed did anyone get a knot like thing under any of them? I was sleeved July 10th and my incisions have been doing great but I just noticed a knot under the skin right above the biggest incision where they took my stomach out. Its still the most tender of all my incisions...[/quote']the only incision bothering me was the main one.i went to my post op appt yesterday with the dr after 10 days and it said it will be sore more than others since it ia the main one.it does look a little bumpy versus all the other ones r healing better

i think i might try some salad cause i guess everyones body is really different on eating.what about cucumbers.they are my faveeee

oh wow i did not know that.i love salads too.oh well lol.thanks for the info.hopefully my dr will let me eat crab meat a couple days earlier :-)

i am taking a month off.for one because i have a buttload of sick time.and for two i wanna be fully recovered.i dont wanna get sick at work cause i ate too much of didnt drink enough Water then havinf to leave work.i do hear alot of people go back after a week but thats just not me.i want to make sure im good to go.

Hello all! I'm new here but wanted to share my experience! I was sleeved July 3rd and everything has been going great! I had no nauseous from pain meds at all And no nauseous from any foods! I am currently on soft foods like cottage cheese' date=' string cheese, peaches, mashed potatoes, etc. I am very happy with how everything has gone so far- much better than I expected! 15 days post op and I'm down 26 lbs![/quote']lucky u get peaches and cottage cheese :-(
i dont get that on my liquid phase.congrats on ur weight loss.im 9 days out and so far have lost 14 pounds

I was sleeved on 7/10 and as of today i have lost 14 pounds.my nausea finally went away yesterday and i been walking around so the gas is minimal now.i been eating reek yogurt;sf popsicles;water;malt o meal.i know i have not been gettinnl in the amount of Protein i need but my nut said its fine as long as i get the Fluid in so i wont be dehydrated.i havent been really hungry but today i did crave a bloody mary drink lol.didnt actually drink one.what i did was get low sodium v8 (approved by dr) put some lemon juice and ice in it..i really tricked my brain lol!!!cant wait to get on soft foods here in 5 more days :-)

i was sleeved on july 10th and i also get randomly nauseated. i wasnt sure if this was normal. and its very hard for me to belch 0_o
anyone else feeling this way? i was given zofran and phenergan but i really dont wanna depend on those meds forever .

ya ur not alone. idk i guess it may be really bad gas pains still.. on day 7,which is mine today, its not as bad.i am still nauseated on and off though. my cousin had it done and she told me by day 10 ur back to normal.i hope so.i wanna feel better from all this pain belching gas ect lol. good luck.keep us posted

Surgery in the morning and I'm scared to death! When I had my hysterectomy' date=' I woke up in the middle of it and I won't go into gory detail but I've had nightmares about it.... I know this will be worth it and I'm sure all will be fine... but as many times as I tell myself that, still scared like crazy[/quote']I was scared also.i kept praying like crazy!u will be fine.dont stress urself out too much about it.u will be in and out before you know it.

I made chicken noole Soup and just had the broth of it. That made a huge difference' date=' plus my wife made some egg drop soup which was perfect too. What has everyone been eating to get through these two week post op?im on full liquids.i been doing popsicles,water,tea,yogurt and mashed potatoes but im already soooo tired of it.i have one more week of this.

The only thing helping me getting up and down from my bed it a chair to hold on to and a small pillow :-(
