  1. I'll weigh in (ha ha) since we have the same doctor! Go JourneyLite! How do you like it there?

Anyway' date=' the scale there was always within 1.5 pounds of my home scale, usually higher because at home I weigh first thing in the morning in my underwear. My gym scale is 6-7 pounds LESS than home scale and I was hoping to go with that but last week I went to my PCP and their scale agreed with mine. Dangit!

I'd say if the number doesn't change at all for a while or you see sharp increases or decreases then you might want to change the battery. I don't think you need a whole new scale. Or try a third one at the gym or friend's house to be the tie breaker, that's kinda what the PCP scale did for me.[/quote']

I do love journey lite and curry staff! Great experience. When did you have your surgery? (im mobile so i cant see profile).Yes I will be using the gym scale tomorrow.

  2. Sooo glad to hear i'm not alone in this. I was sleeved Thursday morning June 28th and today is the worst I have ever had. Nothing is staying down' date=' I feel empty, cannot tolerate one more sip of plain Water or fruity flavored anything. Guess I am in the "why the hell did I do this" stage. I cannot even eat Jello (something I loved before surgery). I feel like I am getting dehydrated but as of today, I cannot keep even Water down. Hoping for a better tomorrow. :( [/quote']

I was liked that up until today. I had surgery the 28th too and really dehydrated. I bought a Powerade and sipped on it all day and now I feel soo much better!! You should try it I used the lemon or yellow flavor. :) i move on to puréed foods this Thursday !

  3. Any HELP would be really appreciated. I was sleeved on friday morning June 29th' date=' since then Ive had a hell of a time keeping down anything let alone the desire to even drink Water. Everything taste GROSS! My emotions are all over the place, i feel a little depressed and I have extream anxiety. Is this normal?

Also can YOU PLEASE give me some tips on getting in calories on the week one after post op diet. Im feeling a lot of regret right now! I could cry.[/quote']

I feel the same but I would be better if I could enjoy a my liquids or gas was. Or there

  4. You will feel better every day - I promise. Even when you hit a setback' date=' you can know that it will pass. When the pounds start to come off, you will look back on your Day Two misery and realize it was worth it. Keep the faith.[/quote']

Thank you. I believe you and I like reading people s stories months post op. just got to make it through this hump. :)

  5. Thanks. The pain is not too bad but nausea is awful. My dr just put in a order at the pharmacy for antiemetic. Prayerfully that will make things better. Yes I am now a loser haha I went from 238 to 224. So I will stay positive and look into changing my screen name. :)

  6. I don't want to discourage anyone just want to know if others have gone through this and things turned around. Sorry just this forum gives me encouragement at times. Maybe you will be right 1 to 2 weeks. I was hoping because I am 22 tht I would jumped back up on my feet. I've had 2 open heart surgery and that I breezed through but this is much harder for some reason. I pray you make the best decision for yourself. :)
