  1. Lower body lift' date=' butt lift and breast lift (no implants). Thing are looking great! My stomach is still very tight, so I noticed I was slightly bending forward while jogging yesterday. I am sure it will just take time for everything to heal and stretch back to position again.[/quote']

Just curious - what was the cost on all of that?

  2. Figured I would post here as well, since I'm a DECEMBER SLEEVER :) lol barely though. I was sleeved bright and early on 12/31/12. I actually woke up down another 1 1/2 pounds - I added those numbers in as well. Too bad my monthly mark was yesterday :)

  3. Just out of curiosity' date=' ur joining the Air Force 15 lbs from now? I'm an Army Vet and they scrutinized my gallbladder surgery I had like 10 yrs prior before joining. I didn't think they accepted bariatric patients. Wow. Congrats![/quote']

Im kind of a different case - normally they probably wouldnt consider it but Im an RN and ill be joining their nurse corps. Im applying for the nurse practitioner scholarship they have. From what im hearing, theyre a little more lenient with medical professionals. My surgeon has personally gotten a sleeve patient approved (not sure if theyre a nurse) and the nurse recruiter here said hes personally had a bypass patient make it. Of course, its a disqualifier, so theyre getting in on waivers.

I have to hit 186 since im 5'9" - im 198.8 today so wish me luck!

  4. Um.... well, I don't watch WHAT I eat as much as the calorie count. Breakfast today - 1/2 of a turkey, cheese, spinach omelette. Usually just grab an Atkins Protein Shake though - those taste best to me and have least carbs. lunch - our cafeteria at the hospital blows so I usually end up getting a cheeseburger with mustard instead of mayo and eat about half... no fries. Usually get a small snack of popcorn or some candy (yeah I know... not the best, but I'm watching calories...) dinner varies. Could be a snack or grab something quick at a restaurant - maybe 1/4 to 1/2 of a burger from Chili's or Twisted Root or something like that... if I go somewhere with a steak I'll get a sirloin and eat about 1/3 to 1/2 depending on the size... I eat veggies if I have room. So I do OK for the most part - just allow myself a cheat sometimes depending on how stressful the day was. I just focus on calorie count more than anything and try to keep my carbs DECENT... still go over 50 a day usually. Sometimes by quite a bit. Hope that helps.

  6. This isn't an end of month update (almost though - only have a week left for September) - but I hit 200lbs yesterday! That was a goal of mine. Only 15 pounds to go to make weight to start trying to get into the Air Force Nurse Corps. I honestly don't see where it's going to come from though.. I'm still losing a fairly consistent 2lbs a week.. hopefully it keeps up a little while longer.

Has anyone gotten to the point they feel like they're losing TOO MUCH weight? I'm kind of worried that might be a possibility... if so how did you handle it?

  7. You can't let what people say get you down. One of our NNP's here in the NICU - her daughter had the same procedure I did (sleeve) and she's had a ton of complications - every story is unique and different - however complications ARE NOT the norm. I had ZERO. ZERO food intolerances (not exactly proud of that part)... I'm eating 1300 cal's a day average and still losing 2lbs a week on average fairly consistently... Still have 20lbs to go until "IM" happy.

  8. Hey everyone. I'm working on my next short film. It's a 15 minute twisted comedy with a "Hangover" sense of humor. We made the pitch video this weekend and I'm trying to figure out if it's funny or not - if it's not then it's not going to work and I'll need to re-shoot it. Your opinions and thoughts matter! Please let me know! Is it too much to read? overwhelming? Just trying to make it better.
