  2. You're doing great keep up the good work. I've got 30 to goal.
  3. I have had the same symtoms....LOL i've lost 74 lbs from my highest weight. A friend said I was a mere shadow of myself, I liked it. Got about 30 more lbs to goal. Can't wait things have slowed down but should be there by Christmas.
  4. Try some cream soup it will fill you up better but not to much. Also I will hold water in my mouth for a few seconds and it helps with the thirst. (I like real cold water). I am 6 months out and have trudged thru the rough times but It is so worth it. Keep up the good work!!
  5. I finally broke 200 now at 195 cant seem to break through again... don't feel like I am over eating or even eating bad just stuck.
  6. Well I am 6 months out and still not working out.... bad me.... thing have slowed to a crawl not sure how to get it started again. I'm not really eating bad no sweets but just nothing happening at 195lbs.
  7. Great post. I am 5 1/2 months out and it is a reality that a lot of us haven't thought about. Keep posting we like it.
  8. It's a great feeling isn't it... I reach onderland last month and it has been moving slower now but it had been at least 20 years since I had seen the one hundreds. I'm always glad to hear these success stories. It makes me know that this is the best thing I have every done for myself.
  9. You know that everyone is different.... Me I have issued with anesthesia but as far as the surgery I did not have any pain in my stomach. But some people have more or less nausea but it is only a couple of days. Just remember to only do liquids till your doc says you can start soft foods. I believe you will do fine if just believe in yourself.
  10. I have mouth alcers occasionally but it seems that it is when I have drank my water with the Mio or other floavorings with a lot of citric acid. Pineapple especially bothers me.
  11. I'm at the exact place you are and my weight is going in the same direction. It has slowed but this morning I was 197.4 slow and steady. I plan on plastics next year. Tummy Tuck and breast augmentation. My bat wing arms will have to wait unless I get a real good deal. But I am so happy with the way I look and my husband can't keep his hands off me. WooWoo!!!
  12. I was taking antidepresants as well before and wanted to stop.....not a good idea... go back to them until you have got thru the mind hunger.... I was a basket case.... maybe take a smaller dose but this is a hard journey ... we need all the help we can get.
  13. You've done a great job. I have just got to onderland in 5 months 65 lbs total. And I have had a blast shopping for clothes. I always check the clearance rack and I am amazed at the much lower prices I am finding no more add 2-5 $ because of the size. I moved recently and found a box of pictures and i looked just like you. And I hope when all is done I look as good as you. Thanks for sharing!
  14. I had surgery on Feb. 27, 2012 I have now lost 65 lbs.I am now in onderland!! It's been a roller coaster ride a lot of the time but I am so glad that I took this journey. I feel so much better about myself, my self esteem is higher and I can look in the mirror without feeling discussed. I am really hoping that my daughter can see my success and do this for herself. I know that there are skeptics out there that think this is not a good thing to but they have not lived in my shoes to see the looks on peoples faces, to hear the silent remarks, to sit in a chair gentlely and hope it holds you. I knew that it was time for me to take control of my destiny......And I did, now I can look in a mirror, sit in any chair, and I feel great. There are no more stares and I feel like I am normal. My husband has been so supportive and he is my soul mate for life. I am so excited about my new look and my new life. I can't remember the last time that I felt this way. My daughter is 25 and my son is 24 and I don't think they even remember me being this size ever in their life. I wish I could have done this 20 years ago. So good Luck to everyone and remember on this forum we have your back!!!!!
  15. Wow there is a lot of advise here............ You need to decide how strong your relationship was before the surgery... this had to be in the making before the surgery.... It didn't just happen... He saw the opportunity you were out of the picture for a day and would not be expecting him home at any specific time so he jumped on it. Think about it.... really.
