Hi Everyone! It was nice to come out of surgery on Thursday and see the list of all the June Bandsters! That was encouraging! I was just in so much pain that I couldn't fully look at the forums or even reply on my phone. If I had energy I've used it for walking, and this is this the first time I've even opened my laptop in 3 days. Just taking it day by day with this gas pain!

Hello all! This is such a wonderful thread. My surgery is scheduled for the 15th, so only one more week to go! I'm really nervous, especially since it's going to be my first surgery ever. Also, sometimes I get cold feet and want to change my mind, but I always think, "I'm this far now for a damn good reason, so no chickening out now!"
The pre-op diet has been a struggle. I've cheated a few times, but for the most part, I've been sticking to it. It's amazing how my appetite has decreased in the last week. I've lost 4 pounds since last Friday, which to me is amazing because I've never really lost weight before, despite my past attempts.
Congratulations to all the new Bandsters out there!! I'm just waiting for my time to officially join you all.

I just found out I'm June 14th!!!

I started my pre-op diet today, trying to take it day by day. But whooa, day 1 is sure hard, lol. Just staying focused on the new me! I hope 2 weeks go by a lil' faster than usual. Come on June 14th, lol!

Congrats! Most Doctors require some sort of pre-op diet, it may vary on the length. But since I've been on LBT I have also now found that some Doctors don't require a diet. I wish my didn't, lol. I start my Pre-Op diet liquid diet tomorrow, my Pre-Op appt. is on June 6th, and my surgery is June 14th. Keep us posted!

After lurking this site for a few months this is my 1st post and im pleased to announce that I have been approved for surgery on June 15!! woohoooo! Im so excited and scared to start this new journey. I would like to thank you all for sharing your stories! I look forward to losing it with you!!
