Be careful ladies and gentlemen! Carb cycling isn't the best option and can completely tank your pancreas. Only extreme athletes do this and only for very limited amount of time! Goodluck

When you have a consistent bad taste in your mouth (metallic) it is a sign that you are in ketosis. You may also be experiencing really bad breath too that will not go away. Go to your doctor and request a kitone test.. It could become serious so get checked ASAP

I had a port revision (mine had a hole and was leaking the saline) and I didn't have any issues whatsoever so please don't think that is how you are supposed to feel!

I am officially going away on November 26th! To Mayan riviera Mexico my husband surprised me with the trip for my 24th birthday and for Christmas! (spoiled I know ) I am at 167.4 lbs as of this morning.. I litterally stood on the scale with my mouth wide open, got off, got on again and thought I was dreaming. I have not been this light since before I had my oldest daughter who is now 6! The thrill is phenominal, but I'm scared because I still see myself looking 180lbs and cannot seem to see myself any smaller. I'm afraid that no matter what I will not be happy with the mirror. Anyone else suffering from body dismorphic disorder? Anyone who has best it? Husband tells me I look great in my bathing suits wish I could feel the same

All of you are amazing people.. Brought a tear to my eye to read all these and know how amazing the support we give to eachother is.. It's so necessary for the lifestyles we all have to learn to live now. I appreciate every single one of you

I feel you on that. Set small goals for yourself and try your best to stick to them. My problem is continuously looking at the big picture and stressing about it. you can do it

I'm in need of some support today! I ate 2.5 cups of frozen yogurt this morning for Breakfast after a fight with my husband.. I'm ashamed and have not emotionally ate in SO long. Brings back a lot of unhappy memories... just need some love today!

I think the title says it. I am SO lazy lately lol. My husband is a strength and conditioning coach who has a customized workout for me and I do it when he's here watching me- but on days like today.. I do one round of the circuit, do the abs and then just get on the spin bike. This girl is needing some motivation!

One of my favorite lunches is ground chicken, quinoa, red, yellow and orange peppers and mushrooms. Cook the quinoa like you normally would (I use a rice cooker) pan cool the chicken then when slightly cooked add in all the veggies. Ad in quinoa, 1/2cup of Water and mix in either bought taco mix, or cayenne pepper, chili powder, garlic powder and seasoned salt!

I had my surgery done by Credit Valley Clinic and I loved my experience all of the doctors are wonderful!

My husband makes me a great shake with quick oats, chocolate Protein Powder, fibre, and 1tbsp of peanut butter! Not only is it chocked with Protein but it definitely kills any cravings.

I've had my band for over 2 years now, and just recently truly started to listen to it. I personally LOVE the fact that I don't have that same draw to food anymore. It's freeing. All of the stuff I cook is full of flavor but once I am full I'm not interested in it anymore. I was a major binge-eater so being able to "eat to live" rather than living to eat has been fantastic

If you're working out you need more than 60g. I shoot for 100g a day

Hey! just wondering if there is anyone who was banded in Toronto/Mississauga and lives in the St. Catharines area
Thankful November Challenge
