I am 11 days post op, I saw my surgeon on Friday and he said everything looked great and I could resume normal activity (not lifting more than 30 lbs).

So I was doing some gardening today and I feel like I pulled a muscle right at my port site. If I did pull a muscle, is it going to hurt my port?

i gained 8 lbs before surgery and i didn't have any problems.

Hey Everyone,

I am 4 days post op and I have a question about the “full liquid” stage. I know that when I start to eat, I can’t drink 15 mins before and 1 hour after.

My question is, does this apply during the full liquid stage? I had a yogurt this morning and a few sips of Water. I felt ok but is it allowed during this stage?

I am a stay at home mother of three, I have a 2 ½ year old son and twin 9 month old daughters. My surgery is scheduled for May 23rd and my husband took off two weeks from work. Is two weeks enough healing time for me to start caring for my children again?

My name is Kris and I have been overweight my entire life and I was diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 15 and I have a BMI of 42.

I have been browsing the boards for about 3 months now while I was doing the legwork for surgery. I finally heard from the doctor’s office today and my surgery was approved! I have been impatiently waiting for the approval for 4 weeks! I have an appt. on May 21st to see the nutritionist and then I will get a surgery date.
