Ya canned Refried beans. The 3 things my doc mentioned about Mushies was those, eggs and tuna. So I thought I'd better incorporate those somehow

I found that iced cold water satisfies my thirst. I was so used to gulping down water when I was thirsty, and now we can't! So I ice it up and sip slowly, swish is around my mouth and it helps. I talk all day at work so I'm always thirsty! I'm 9 days post op!

I can't have Mushies till Wednesday. I was trying to plan what I can have..how does this sound? Some Refried Beans, a little bit of rice and low fat sour cream and salsa? I want to add some ground turkey but don't know yet? I also bought tuna, eggs and I'm afraid to have cheese. Irk why but I feel like cheese wouldn't process well with me. Btw how much have you lost?

Waaaaaaah! How are you able to have yogurts and I'm still on liquids? No fair!! Lol idk what's up with the berries! I'm concerned too!!

I'm 9 days post op and I had the hardest time with the tightness in my chest. My doctor said it was gas. It hurt to breath heavy, yawn, cough..everything. But he told me to breath deep in thru the nose and out the mouth. That helped a lot. Also I drank warm cider and that helped

So right now I'm at my monthly family dinner and they did a huge turkey meal! I'm still on liquids so this sucks. I cheated a little and had (tiny) bit of masked potatoes and cranberry sauce. That's it. I'm so depressed. I know I'm going thru my food habit change right now. And it's hard!!! I feel like bursting into tears!! Need some happy thoughts here. I can start Mushies on Wednesday...almost there right? Help. Needs some virtual hugs.

I had to do tons of pre op tests like sleep studies, upper GI and even my gallbladder out. After that my insurgence said they wanted 6 month supervised diet. THEN after that my insurance denied me. My BMI was a 52 and then still denied. Luckily I have a great bariatric center and they appealed it and FINALLY I got approved as medically necessary and 3 days later got banded. It's different for everybody but definitely look into what your insurance covers . Good luck

Soooooooooo, what do I do? I just got banded a week ago. I've been on LBT for 8 months, I need to join a forum. Do I have to be invited? Anyone wanna invite me!? *big smiles on my face right now* help

You know what it is? I've been using my iPhone app instead of my laptop, so the layout is completely different. I'm not confused anymore thanks guys
