Hi guy's I wanted to share.. I got Banded on the 16th, and for the month of May <including pre op diet> I've lost 30 lbs !!! I'm so happy.. I'm already moving down in clothes sizes..!! I still have 145 lb to go, but this band ROCKS.. my surgeon started me with a 3.4cc fill.. and it's working well.. I can tolerate about 3/4 of a cup and I'm full for at least 4 hours.. and I'm continuing the shakes and keeping my Proteins high and my carbs low.. I'm very pleased with the results so far!!

Hey, hey, hey! Guess who got banded today. I had to be at the hospital at 6 am. Remember it being 9:45 am before the anesthesia kicked my butt and was out of there by 1:45 pm. Quick and not in too much pain. I've been walking around the house with a nap in between.

After I posted my big loss; lots of stuff going on a death in the family and my husband had knee surgery. Was really concerned that I would return to my old habits...NOPE. lost 3 more pounds.
I have knees waiting for surgery so my exercise is limited to my work schedule.
I have not had a piece of candy, any type of sweet, no soda, and mostly NO chips.
I was scared to death my hair was going to fall out so I really hit it hard on Protein, Oh Yea shakes are the best 32grams of protein. Have to admit I am hooked on Greek yogurt, another big protein.
My big treat each day is dinner....typically have a small baked potato and meat. I love my baked potato.
Most important we did it together life was easier.
Best advise ????stay away from slider foods and drink lots of Water, tea, my doc said coffee is fine also. Thank goodness.
Went to the family funeral.....and no one recognized me....so cool.
